I Wish I've stayed in Anjo Azul during all my stay in lisbon. I spent my three first nights in another hotel, more expensive and less comfortable

The very minute I entered this small cozy hotel I felt at home. Miguel, Jizel, and Elena were very professional, warm, kind and welcoming. They were available to give any kind of help like where to eat, where to go and what transport to take. Miguel, a bunch of thanks for the towel origami surprise and the heartfelt note the day of my departure.

There wasn’t a lot of room for our luggage or clothes if we unpacked the luggage. The room was clean though.

We wanted to stay close to city center. This property met that expectation. Not only that, but the staff was extremely helpful. We saved so much time and money by listening to their guidance. Having that guidance was worth every euro we spent on the room.

Very little not to like for the price paid. There was no lift, so be prepared to carry your bags, which was not a problem for us, but if you were less mobile. The wonderful lady on reception did offer to help.

Great location, close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough away to avoid too much noise at night (we were top floor). All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made for a fabulous welcome. Recommend the Jam bar round the corner for an end of day drink and bite too eat.

Genuinely the nicest welcome and customer service we’ve ever experienced in a hotel, from every member of staff without fault. The room was maintained, restocked and cleaned each day, with a nice balcony, air conditioning and secure safe. The staff were always keen to give information both about the general area and also unique events happening during our stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, being both very close to a vibrant nightlife while just far enough away to not have any issues with noise.

The location is great, within walking distance to most of the attractions. The staff is super helpful. Despite the staff warning that the room might be noisy at night due to nearby bars, it was actually quite quiet.

Great location in a lively and beautiful neighborhood, and thanks to well-isolating windows it was perfectly quiet in the room at night. Super friendly hosts who had lots of good recommendations and tips and gave the stay a personal touch.

The only reason this place did not get a 10/10 is because the wifi was weak in my bedroom.

This was my favorite stay of all Portugal. The staff were so friendly, kind, knowledgeable and really cared about you having a good stay. There is always someone available to help you 24/7 and everyone is always more than happy to help you. The location was perfect. walking distance of restaurants, bars, shopping, pharmacies, hair salons and really anything else you would need. The staff did an amazing job cleaning our room, I have never seen a room so clean in all my nights spent at any other hotel. When we come back to Lisbon we will be staying here 100%

Room was a little small, but sufficient due to its effective arrangement. No lift, but expected in buildings of this area.

Positioned in a very central and convenient location of local, traditional architecture. Area is generally residential and quiet during the day, but very lively at night-time with many bars located there (yet property has quiet immediate surroundings). Several coffee places with local pastries and restaurants in close range. Staff was absolutely excellent, very friendly, helpful and thoughtful, creating a sense of intimacy and making you feel welcome. Room was very clean, with a large bathroom and an interesting view to internal courtyard of local character. Overall, great value for reasonable price.

Staying here is a glutes workout - The location is in a very hilly neighborhood and there are no elevators on the location. This wouldn’t stop me from staying here again, but might be a consideration for someone with mobility issues.

We had a lovely stay with Anjo Azul. Truly the staff are outstanding. I would without hesitation stay here again. The staff were helpful, welcoming and truly went out of their way to make sure we had the absolute best stay at their hotel and in Lisbon.

Thank you to Miguel, Gisela, Paula and Elena for making our stay at Anjo Azul such a fabulous and memorable holiday. The bottle of birthday bubbly was much appreciated as was the time spent helping us with our itinerary and directions and general transport advice. The hotel is in a great location, close enough to all the bars and restaurants but surprisingly quiet . Our bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the towels were thick and fluffy. The ladies who cleaned our room kept it spotless so a big thank you to them too, especially for the unexpected towel art. We would love to return one day and would highly recommend a stay here.

Wifi a bit spotty on 4th floor and if shower on full blast water accumulates on bathroom floor but if you don’t put it full blast less likely to happen

We had a fairly spacious room on 4th floor, no elevator….microwave and mini fridge were an awesome plus, small balcony ..in Bairro Alto so walking distance from many attractions and neighborhoods The best thing about this hotel is the most wonderful group of staff that go above and beyond to provide directions and suggestions
