A very special retreat with a spectacular garden, really stylish furniture and a special calmness. Great food during breakfast, only the best fresh ingredients and a very welcoming and friendly chef!

Gorgeous, peaceful, unique hotel on a large property. We stayed in the apartment with 2 bedrooms and enjoyed the 2 patios and abundant space. The new pool is lovely and a great spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Breakfasts are delicious with a large variety of options. There are gorgeous beaches within a short drive and the Rota Vincentina coastal hiking trail is about a 15 minute walk down the road. The owners and staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Our stay at Amaria was the most relaxing part of our trip to Portugal.

Everything! The hotel is a gorgeous slice of paradise. We had a junior suite with a beautiful view over the sea, the bed was so comfy. Every area of the hotel is beautiful and well thought through, with lots of private seating areas dotted around. The swimming pool is lovely with it never feeling busy. Breakfast and dinner in the catina were both excellent. We were very sad to leave and will certainly be coming back!

The privacy, everything was organized/made with lots of care and love. One felt like at home specifically around Simone. She is a wonderful lady. Breakfast and all the nice cakes are one of the best we ever had. And the dinner Simone prepared specifically for us was a unique experience. Thank you for everything.

The eye for detail at Amaria & the aesthetics of the entire property are truly amazing. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had at hotels (including gluten free options and freshly baked cakes). The staff is very kind and you can see they really love the property. The cool is amazing, she made us a home made dinner with one of the best Focaccia’s I’ve had. We will 100% come back! Location is close to Aljezur and Odexeice both great places to visit in the region!

A tranquil, serene and beautiful small boutique hotel with sharp modern architecture blended with traditional building materials, set amongst beautiful costal grounds. The design, decor, cleanliness, furnishings, gardens and facilities were first rate. The grounds are beautifully planted and tended and the lighting at night is spectacular. The staff were top notch and attentive and the owner was fantastic. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, wonderful tasty breakfasts, great location for superb quiet beaches and plenty of choice for local restaurants serving great seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Bicycles provided free for guests were a real bonus. We had a most relaxing four nights at Amaria, it was brilliant.

From the first contact to all the aspects when we got there, Amaria was a perfect retreat. Thoughtful decoration, luxury room and common spaces, warm and welcoming hosts and crew. Simone who takes care of the breakfast is a star! Amazing cakes and best “Fatia Dourada” ever. Thanks again Nuno and team.

Nothing I didn’t like - the place is a dream.

An absolute dream of a hotel. The location, the grounds, the decor, the room, the breakfast - I cannot praise everything more. I had the best, most comfortable and relaxing time here. And I cannot wait to go back! The area is quiet but has so many beaches in the immediate vicinity - we were spoilt for choice! Went to a different beach everyday - and each one was beautiful. The owner was super lovely and made every effort to ensure we had the best time.
