Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Extremely comfortable bed and bed linen of highest quality. Although compact everything needed was available Excellent choice for breakfast and eggs cooked fresh on request.

Beautiful style, very clean and modern. A great location with nice restaurants on the same road (although the hotel breakfast looked fabulous!). The staff, especially Tiago, were very helpful and friendly. The brownie on the first night was a nice surprise after a long day. Great bathroom products and hand cream.

United KingdomThey should remove parking as a facility as it’s misleading . You have to click on it to get an explanation or read the comments. Parking is literally 100m by foot from the hotel, it’s extra safe and our 24 hrs cost us €25.
This place is fabulous. Perfect accommodation for the 24hr trip , close to all the transport, restaurants, tours , old town, river . Staff was lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not included so €17.50 pp but worth it. Although we stayed only for a night we got a little present on departure( artisan hand cream ). Will stay again, for sure!

Professional, kind and informative staff. They went above and beyond to ensure a nice stay. My room was upgraded, the view spectacular. Aircon was just enough to feel comfortable. I felt like a very fancy lady in a gorgeous hotel in the perfect part of town. So many restaurants to choose from, I walked just a few steps to eat at a staff recommended restaurant for dinner and it was an unforgettable experience.
