Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe only small drawback was that the windows overlooked the street, and the sheer curtains didn’t provide much privacy. If you didn’t fully close the heavier curtains, it felt like people could easily see into the room. But with the curtains drawn, it wasn’t an issue at all!
The staff here were absolutely wonderful—so friendly, approachable, and genuinely kind. They were always happy to chat and offer fantastic local recommendations, which really added to the experience. The location couldn’t have been better, and the breakfast was a true standout—delicious and a perfect way to start the day!

AustraliaIf they could open the breakfast from 7am that would have been great. We didn't get to experience the first day as we had a tour booked at 8.15am and their breakfast opens at 8am. So we had to miss out. For future reference only. But the day we did experience breakfast it was INCREDIBLE!
Very beautiful boutique hotel. You can tell the staff are very happy and they were so accommodating. The place was so beautiful and we adored all the amazing touches and amazing toiletries. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We missed out on our first full day there as we had a tour booked.

Amazing property, very thoughtfully decorated. The room was large with all modern amenities. We liked the breakfast served every morning. Incredibly helpful staff, right from the check-in to making sure all our needs are met. Vitor from the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. We checked-in late in the night and he made sure he kept in touch prior to check-in. Overall, we had a great time at this hotel. It was very close to all major sites. We wished we had stayed longer.

Gorgeous boutique hotel that has been beautifully appointed. Location was perfect and walking distance to trams, buses, main train station and the Chiado area full of bars, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delicious - beautiful array of pastries, breads, fruit, cheeses, meats and freshly cooked eggs. Claudia was delightful. We accidentally messed up our booking and Claudia could not have been more accommodating and thoughtful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

IndiaExcellent location in Chiado within 2 minutes walk to Bario Alto and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Sameer at the reception was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful with our check-in. Small touches like the water kettle and espresso machine filled with water and ready to use were quite nice. The room was airy and clean with lots of natural light. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the windows to the street were adequately sound-proofed to allow for a good night's sleep. They also offered a very nice breakfast selection with vegan and gluten free options to select and inform them the night before.
