“Everything was fantastic. There was some cheese, wine and fruit on the table to welcome us. The bed was super comfy and the cottage was really lovely. There was a gate to keep the dog in the garden area. Plenty of towels were provided. There were films if that is your thing. Some extra food was left behind by other guests and some herbs which is super helpful. There were extra blankets in the cupboard which we needed too as October can be chilly. All in all it was fabulous. The taverna 2 doors down was really good too and so was the bar by the square.”
“The house was so rustic and beautiful. The property orchard and flowers were so great. Our host Amelia was so nice and was always bringing us fruit, bread and desserts she baked. The town of Soajo was so quaint and had many restaurants to eat at. On hot days, the patio had so much shade which was perfect. Our 2 week trip was so amazing and Amelia's house was a perfect spot to do day trips from.”
“Traditional house with every modern facility you could need, such as microwave or AC. Cozy little house with very friendly owner (who does not speak English) and great array of breakfast staples for self made breakfasts. The food was delicious and abundant (way more than needed). Great location to be a starting point for mountain tracks and explorations.”
“Great host (Luisa) who baked us a cake each day and kept the fridge stocked up. Though she doesn’t speak much English, she still tried to communicate and made us comfortable.”
“Recently renovated house with everything you need for living and cooking. Barbecue zone, a chill outdoor zone with tables, sunbeds, and sun umbrellas. A terrace from our part of the house left us speechless. The bathroom is big, the AC is powerful, and the stove is nice.
Antonio is an amazing host, he kindly shared with us some fruits from his garden. Kiwi jam from his wife has been left in my heart.
The house is standing on the beautiful trail that I recommend hiking. The village Soajo also has everything you might need - a small supermarket, a bakery, a market, a butcher, a river beach, and some landmarks. Many animals live in that area.”
“An extraordinary and lovely little place in a beautiful mountain village. We received a very warm welcome with wine and fresh croissants - a heavenly gift after our long journey. The locals that we met were very friendly and helpful and the countryside is just breathtaking. We hope to return here one day. ☺️”
