“Relaxing cosy traditional place at top of hill with nice views. Host was friendly and had good recommendations for the area, breakfast was good and the friendly dogs were a bonus! Bed was quite comfy , room included mini fridge and working a/c and there was even a shared kitchen and fridge where you could prepare meals. This worked out very well as the monte is a bit of a drive from nearby restaurants and has far better sunset views!”

The room was really nice decorated. The owners created all on their own with a lot of love and detailed work. Gisela is very welcoming and showed us the location. She speaks english really well.
We stayed two nights instead of one.
There s a small and nice refreshing pool. Also there are two adult and one baby sheep and cats.
The first night we didnt have warm water. The owner directly fixed it (gas was switched off) as we wrote her in the morning.”

Going to sleep with this unbelievable night sky, waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by this unbelievable scenery was very special. I can recommend the stay for everyone that wants to ground themselves and reconnect with nature.
Near by you have the most beautiful beaches, a river and the cute town São Luís.
I felt very safe, the people at the farm were very friendly, I loved staying here. I wish I would’ve have stayed a bit longer but I will definitely return.
