“Good standard of the room, I was very impressed with the size and quality of the double-bed. Breakfast buffet was included and there were fruits. They also have restaurant and bar is open until 10 pm, so if you drive then this place is a qood choice”

“Honestly the accomodation exceeded our expectation a lot. The house was very clean, nicely futnitured and fully equipped more than standard (Coffe machine, blender, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, bookguides and more). Two floors availible makes it feel much more spacious. Cake, cookies and local fruits and bread waiting on us upon arrival :). The thing that you have a beatifull garden within the accomodation is amazing. Full of different trees with sun riped fruits, free to eat. And also great place to have an evening wine. Location was also very convenient, in the middle of sunny south coast (good starting point for travelling around whole Island) and it was very quiet. Ideal for those looking to reside in nature rather than in the crowded city. And lastly, hosts were really kind and helpfull in all things needed and great to talk to :)”
“The chalet is built on a slope overlooking the ocean. There is a lot of greenery around, grow banana trees. On a sunny mornings and warm evenings lizards keep company.
The house interior on the first floor looks like authentic local village house, while second floor is more modern studio.
Ocean is located only several minutes walk but the beach is not very friendly for swimmers because the shore has lots of boulders.”

Much was said about the way you access the villa and how steep the road is. Well, it is steep but that is Madeira… a lot of roads are like that and coming from a flat city can be intimidating but is part of the experience😊

“LovelyStay seems to be a very professional property manager. Everything was very well organizsed and communication was perfect. The villa was in excellent condition and fully according to the pictures provided. There was even a small welcome gift with local specialities on the kitchen table. Small things like tabs for dish washer and washing machine as well as shower gel and body lotion completed the positive picture. The house and the pool is in excellent condition. the interior is tasteful and the view from the pool is fantastic. A place to relax after a day exploring this beautiful island or even to spend a relaxed day at the pool. Although close to a road the traffic is usually very limited. However a car is a must as grocery shops and restaurants are not available close by. In summary we can fully recommend this place.”
