In the booking website it says $100 for damage deposit but when I got there, they charged me $200!

This property would be amazing if it was oceanfront...2 minute walk across the street.

Great 1st experience at TRYP. The staff was very friendly, the room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size and the shower gets HOT. There's a restaurant on site and a bar with a happy hour that serves food too. Great location access to everything you want to do in San Juan, lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

This property meets expectations for a business trip. I probably wouldn’t stay here on vacation.

The location is perfect if you’re here on business. On site secure parking and literally adjacent to the main highway, only 5 -10 minutes from the airport. The property is easily accessible and safe at any hour, which offers peace of mind for any solo traveler arriving late and/or heading out early.

At times we felt that the staff was new and at times received answers to questions where one answer overrode the first. I am always very supportive of trainees as they orient themselves to the job. But I felt that there could have been better communication on the part of the staff: from a proactive "¿Cómo les ha ido?", to an explanatory "Disculpe, estoy aprendiendo, ya se lo contesto." They were helpful when we asked questions but otherwise kept to themselves. There was a confusion at the front desk at check in since we had two rooms. It was resolved, but again with the help of additional staff. To repeat, this does not bother me; however, a simple acknowledgment that help was needed would have been nice. We would like to be able to return, knowing that in general the staff is helpful.

But, housekeeping staff kept knocking, though I had a late checkout and a "please don't disturb " on the door.

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. And there was an unexpected beach/water view from room 319.

This was a great hotel. The staff was kind and accommodating when we inquired about an early check in. The pool was a highlight for my children! It is in a nice location, close to the airport, right across the street to the beach, and an easy Uber ride to Old San Juan. A very comfortable stay!

The girl that checked us out was not funny when she told us we had fifteen minutes to get out as she smiled thru her braces! Also she didn't answer the phone so we had to come downstairs to speak with her.

The girl who cheked us in was very helpful. Our room did not have a TV remote but an employee found one and brought it to us. Loved the location and restaurants next door.

The room I was assign smelled of mildew . THE EVENING STAFF WAS NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING. Sat in lobby till the next morning to get another room They refused to refund my first night in a room I did not sleep in
