I stayed for 7 nights and i didn’t like that they did not change out the sheets, they would just rotate and flip the comforter. I was sleeping in my stained, humid comforter with a few drops of food for 7 days. I didn’t know how to tell them, i didn’t want to embarrass them or myself but it was pretty disappointing to see the bed nicely made but with the same dirty sheets just flipped or rotated around. I thought i could trust them that i was truly resting in a clean room. The hotel i perfect if your seeking a lively experience they have drag shows on Sundays they look very fun. The music tho is on all days of the week downstairs in the lounge bar / restaurant area but unfortunately it sometimes goes on until 10-11pm. This is a great place to stay if you want to have a great lively experience, but not so much if you’d like to get some relaxing, peaceful rest. Overall my experience was great, staff were nice and they keep the hotel very safe with a friendly security at the entrance 24/7. The location was close to some of the best restaurants just a minute away and you have full beach access right in front of you.

The check-in offers very little information about the area. They also don't share any amenities, the wi-fi, the local restaurants, coffee at the front, etc. The room needs a small lamp. The elevator is very slow. The front needs better lighting and a sign for ride-share pickup. The beach rentals could be better.

I asked if there was an ocean-facing available, to upgrade I never got a response. The location is great. The room price is reasonable. I booked online and there seems to be one extra charge I will work that out online. The cleaning team did a great job!

the bathroom was clearly not cleaned. there was dirty towels left in the room from the previous guests. the body wash dispensers were empty. the sheets seemed dirty and stained. the bar closed before 10 although we were told it’s open until midnight. no one explained it was based on volume

The front desk staff was not welcoming at all—no greeting, not even a smile. We weren’t informed about any amenities, nearby restaurants, or activities. For someone new to Puerto Rico, a flyer or brochure about the local area would have been really helpful. The hotel had a bar on the main floor, right on the beach, but we weren’t sure if it was just a bar or a bar/restaurant. There was no explanation of what was on-site, not even if breakfast was available. My sister only discovered the free coffee by chance when she saw a pot at the desk one morning.

On the positive side, the location of The Tryst Hotel was fantastic. The property is right on the beach, which made for beautiful views and easy access to the ocean. The size of the hotel was perfect—not too big, not too small. Plus, it was within walking distance of a pharmacy and several restaurants, which was really convenient once we discovered them.

Cleanliness. Lack of turn down service from housekeeping. Not supplying towels and wash cloths. Staff was seldomly at the desk. No bar service at the beach from hotel.

Location was perfect. Private beach access. Could leave luggage with hotel if checking out and have a later flight.

The room and bathroom were very small and compact. For the room it was a minor inconvenience, but the bathroom was bad. The sink was too small and all components were packed into a very small space.

Staff was friendly, helpful, very clean even with the renovations. I noted that they changed the floor mat in the elevator for the different times of the day. Property right on the beach. Free coffee was very good.
