Parking is kinda hectic and valet only. Lack of sand washing facilities by the beach access or anywhere before the room. Room window can be much cleaner, as the room have a phenomenal ocean view it’s such a shame not to see it will because of a dirty window.

The location is quite nice near restaurants, and have direct access to the public beach, few minutes in car from old San Juan. Extraordinary room ocean view. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and nice they gave some great advices on where to go and what activities they as locals grew up doing. the bar was on the expensive edge but with some seriously good cocktails and moctails. Free beach towels.

Hot water often was just warm. That caused me to drop rating down a notch. Rooms are a bit small but I had expected that. Typical of some European hotels. The weakness of hot water was the one weakness.

Location. Hotel also had direct access to the beach and lounge chairs. Staff was friendly. Good place for easy access to beach without paying an arm and a leg.

The ocean view rooms are also directly over a bar that played music VERY loud. Music at a bar is expected but this was pretty loud. Also, and this is unrelated, but the lighting in the room wasn't great. There wasn't a light in the closet, for example which made things a little annoying.

The location was great! It's directly on the beach, making beach days really easy. Also very close to lots of restaurants and shops so easy to walk everywhere.

Location was perfect. Rooms are basic/small but very nice and clean. It's all you need especially if you plan on spending most time on the beach and out. Oceanfront view is beautiful!

the facility was slightly dated. could use a facelift but we noticed they are planning on one.

the location was amazing! the happy hour drink specials with the ocean view can not be beat! they gave us coffee in the morning and the facility was clean. they offer a ton of towels and beach chairs.

This was a great hotel. It's right on the beach, your front and back door! It's beautiful, it's, kept, really clean, but what makes the Tryst hotel is the staff? This is friendly staff from the front desk, to the restaurant (The Wicked Lily), to housekeeping. Christian, Jacob, Dominic (Front Desk, we're great) Jonathan, (Wicked Lily great). I wish I could remember every ones name. Sure, I could tell you about small issues like not enough hangers, or you can read small rooms, but please who cares, you don't come to PR for that you come for the beach, mountain, outdoor living and they have great outdoors living with beach chairs and umbrella provided! Great value for the price! You can walk around to many places for food, coffee, shopping, I would suggest trying going to Old San Juan, El Yunque rain forest.

The shower has high-pressure water and can't be modified, so taking a shower is somewhat painful. Also, don't expect the highest quality body wash, hand soap, or shampoo

Got oceanview room, but window was filthy and wouldn’t open. Shower leaked and wasn’t fixed despite saying it would be.

The AC was awful. At one point my room was almost 80 degrees. It was actually cooler outside than in our room. Dont waste time doing all of the pre check-in stuff online, you have to do it all over again when you arrive. They have o TV service. You have to use your personal streaming service for TV. Its a boutique hotel, but these rooms are tiny. The pictures really make the place look quite large. We paid a 3 star price for a 1 star room.
