Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandI appreciate the "green" goal of the hotel, but would still prefer bottled water in the rooms.
Helpful, warm and kind Hotel Staff everywhere. My best area to relax was the Executive Lounge.

CanadaAt the check in they did not have the room we booked because of overbooking, and we were not the only ones with this problem at the check in counter. After a lengthy stay and with a receptionist (Jean)that seemed to be bothered by us, making all kind of faces we got a different room than the one we booked but they offered complimentary breakfast. At the time of checkout I was approached by the assistant guest services manager Mr Jens Antonio insisting that if we ever visit Crimson to contact him personally and he will make sure we will be taken cared of. Sad to say that after an unanswered phone call and email their reservation department is lacking badly in every way. I mean why even approach me, and I repeat INSIST to contact him and not even reply. That is not great for a 5* hotel. For those reasons I decided to book a different location.
The hotel is nice and clean, decent breakfast.

New ZealandSlippery floors in entrance way and bathroom caused me to fall coming out of the bathroom. I had to pay $300 to go and get checked out at the hospital. No signs advising to be careful and mats on floors didn't help.

United StatesRoom carpet is dusty, need a serious steam cleaning. Fixtures need maintenance. Bathroom lights were wiggling.
I stayed for 6 nights and have witnessed the consistent great service they provide. The staff were very professional and attentive. Service with a smile! Best location! Close proximity to malls and restaurants. Transportation is easy to grab. We loved the huge "Vegas style lobby they have on the 8th floor. It has a great ambience with warm lighting and beautiful art pieces. It's perfect for a meet up. I enjoyed Cafe Eight's buffet breakfast , I ate there everyday. Food was affordable for the amount of choices they offer. The room is smaller than I expected but we'll designed ,great use of space and great layout. I loved the big windows ,overlooking the city skyline. I watched the sunrise & sunset everyday. This is probably the only hotel in Manila that I've been to that had a thick window curtains for privacy and block too much light. I appreciate it very much. It keep the room cool when I need it closed. The beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean silky and soft to the touch. They assigned me the correct bed set up and didn't have to beg or argue with them about it. The room offers pitcher for water refill found at the hallway, which I thought is very convenient for transient guests and environmental friendly. The bathroom is my favorite layout out of all hotels I've stayed in. The standing shower room with right drainage and glass door that doesn't flood the floor. The toilet bowl situated on the right side of the door which offers privacy. There were free toiletries, bathrobe and slippers. The room has several storage closets and table counter to use for dining & work space area.

Omanthe reception did not answer/pick up the call immediately. I have to redial or call again after sometimes.
room is clean and big enough for a family of three. We love the hotel practice of saving drinking water by having a common area for water station however it is a little bit far if your room is in the last room of the wing. The management must consider to add more stations (not only near the lift)

GermanyCheck in was quiet slow. The hotel is big and just two person for check in and a relative complicated check in procedure made me waiting for 45 minutes. If check in would be made faster ( i know check in online is provided but this is somehow difficult on a small phone screen ) it would have been the perfect hotel experience.
The hotel is located in Muntinlupa, a part of Metro Manila which have nothing to see but many good restaurants and malls. One of the malls was just 5 mins walk away. Hotel itself offers a really great breakfast, a coffee shop, a restaurant, a hugh lobby and a medium sized pool with a pool bar. Rooms have been spacious, clean and comfortable.

PhilippinesThere were minor aspects we didn't like: we were expecting one bed but our room had twin beds. We were too tired to complain and correct. The beds were comfortable and warm. The pillows provided were more than enough (2 per bed). Housekeeping greeted us when we initiate :) once we start a conversation, they are friendly and offered help, if we needed.
Parking was easy, we received a parking ticket at the entrance that just needed validation when we check out. Check-in was a breeze. There were check-in kiosks available and staff who are happy to assist. The room had more than enough drawers and cabinets to place our stuff. Water refilling stations are at every floor for cold and hot water. A pitcher was provided per room. In the bathroom, the hot water is very hot and had very strong pressure. There's a bidet provided. Breakfast was superb, order the french toast (they used coconut milk)--very light and very good. The pool was crowded (expected), it was fun to lie down on the padded benches under the tent and enjoy the warm breeze. Check-out was easy, too.
