The only thing I would suggest, is placing some form of reflective film on the glass sliding doors to the rooms downstairs. You need to keep the curtains closed to prevent people being able to see inside the rooms.

Everything about this place was lovely. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. They would bring various little samples of food to try, and kept offering me free coffee. I was in room 4 which is downstairs, so very convenient. The AC unit was new, so cooled the room nicely and was quite. There was a good sized smart flat screen tv. Plenty of hot water for showering, with good water pressure. The towels and bedding were new and the double bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't use the swimming pool, but it was there if you wanted to cool off.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I couldn't stay longer.

I loved staying here so much!!! The owner, Marisol, is such an amazing person. She organized activities and tours for me and the other guests while I was staying. There was a scooter available for me to rent during my stay at a good price. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was always kept clean and tidy. All of the staff were lovely and always happy to help with anything they could. Great location with Alona beach and plenty of good restaurants in easy walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Bohol.

I loved my stay in Azul de Panglao. The owners are such lovely people. The room was super comfy, very clean. The pool was nice too. They offered help for eveything. It is super quiet and calm even though it is close to a big road. I can totally recommend this place.

In the spirit of full disclosure, while the location does provide a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, some might find the short walk to the city center a small trade-off.

I loved the personalized touch from the family-run; the owners’ care, delightful excursions, and the best coffee in the Philippines made the stay truly memorable.

I didn't like that the staff entered our room to clean without our consent or without us requesting the cleaning.

Luxurious feels, rooms were clean, smelled nice and the bed was really comfortable. The best part of all was the excellent customer service, staff would go out of their way to accommodate our request.

The hotel was undergoing sanitation or something like that, so the room was scented with some artificial mint stuff before our arrival. We were the only guests at the beginning. Although the hotel looks charming in the photos, in reality it is average at an excessive price relative to both the standard offered and the prices of hotels in the area. Rooms very bare, no fridge, no cleaning service. At the reception we were promised a taste of local banana specialties, but they didn't give us anything. Lots of hotel staff constantly wandering around the courtyard and you really have no privacy. The rooms are accessed through a single window to the pool. The windows have no curtains, only heavy drapes. So you either have absolute darkness in your room or you really have no privacy. Very uncomfortable! Small and very narrow bathroom. We are giving 5/10 because the current booking rating of 9,5/10 is unreal for this price/quality ratio!
