I traveled here in my own for my 40th birthday. When I arrived the room was decorated with so many balloons and banners and flowers I felt so overwhelmed with gratitude. It was so kind as I didn't that time on my own. The staff were so friendly. They helped me with EVERYTHING. From booking tours, offering food and taxis and airport transfers. I was so tired when I arrived but I didn't want to leave. The best place I stayed in the Philippines.

The location is great - easily walkable to restaurants and where you need to be to get tours. It was nice to have breakfast every morning, especially early options for tours or an early ferry. The room was spacious enough for two people easily and the air conditioning kept us cool at night.

Highly Recommended here at Alec Lodge. Very accommodating staffs. Very Good Location! Located at Town Proper near cafes, convinient stores, atm, restaurants etc. Having a good bfast every morning is a PLUS POINTS. Breakfast meals are delicious and have many variations to choose from.

Alec Lodge is in a good location. It is walking distance to restaurants and stores. The staff are kind and accommodating. Their breakfast are well served and delicious. Our stay couldn't be great if the shower floor is not flooding. Overall, our stay went well.

The banana pancakes at breakfast were delicious on the rooftop. The room was in a good location and was great for 1 night before we went on the Tao experience (only 10min walk from their office and then 5min tuk tuk to the port)

Great value for money! The staff is so friendly and helplful. We stayed here before and after a sailing trip and could store one backpack at their place. They also helped my partner preparing a birthday surprise for me :)

Our washroom floor did not drain the shower properly due to the angle of the floor and location of the drain. Showers created puddles of water, making it slippery especially after five people have showered. We dealt with this by manually pushing water to the drain after every shower. A squeegee would have helped. We had tricycles sent to the pier to pick us up, but the price given by the hotel over Booking (250 PHP x2 trikes) was more than the owner said it should have been, but we were not offered the reduced price after this conversation.

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were so lovely, helpful, and shared fruit with us. We fit comfortably in the family room with 5 people. The AC helped to drown out the noise from the road and we had a good sleep. We had to work on two of the days and the upstairs area (where breakfast is served) was perfect with great wifi (less so in the room), a lovely breeze, and great views. We could tell that our washroom was recently renovated with a new toilet (great for tall people!), sink, shower head, and towel rack. The breakfast choices (7 choices in total) were filling, and the free drinking water and coffee was helpful. The location was a short walk from the busiest, most touristy area of town. Overall a great stay!

We really loved our stay at Alec Lodge, our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast served on the terrace and the beautiful view of the bay, but what makes this place really special is the owner and the staff. They were super friendly and helpful at all times and made our time in Coron even more enjoyable. recommended!
