Milagros should be impartial with all guests regardless of the nationality, her xenofobic treatment was evident, only one of the guys at the reception desk was 100% polite. Some parts of the facilities have advanced mold growth, it smells and causes health problems with longer exposure.

The other tourist make the stay more pleasant :) the kitchen personnel was polite.

I wasn't told from the first day about all of the areas of the hostel, I discovered the terrace on the top floor one week later because another host told me. I think that introduction wasn't fully well presented. I also think tourists do not receive what they should or not, they wake up early for tours and make a lot of noise, they left the lights on and tap open some times. Kind of messy people who need to be told clearly from the very beggining.

a lot of the things met our expectation, so i got no comments here.

we booked the suite room and it is as beautiful as advertised. we love how it is close to downtown and a lot of the night life in Arequipa. there was also a speakeasy right next to the hotel that plays spanish songs all night long which we loved. water pressure was good and the bathtub works well. front desk was very accommodating to booking tours and activities. continental breakfast was also provided in the morning. there was also a gameroom with pool table thats open 24hrs.

The private room had lovely original stone walls with great character features. The reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and super helpful. The hostel was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was basic but good. Location was very close to the central square, supermarket a 5 minute walk.

Really nice hostel with awesome breakfast!! The room was big and the shower warm. The personnel is extremely friendly and they are super flexible, e.g., we could leave our luggage’s for a couple of days. The hostel is well located.

weak wifi, didn’t work in dorm rooms at all, common areas would be nice to work at but again wifi was very weak. they really need to fix this problem. the only common area open at night is outside so super cold

Above expectation on everything! Nice breakfast with eggs and fresh coffee. Amazing beautiful colonial building with lots and lots of beautiful common areas. Have a rooftop. Nice kitchen. Super clean.
