There could have been more lounge chairs available on the lawn. We were able to find a couple regular chairs but they were not comfortable.

The staff were very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant/bar area. The views of the ocean and proximity to the beach was great. The dishes we ordered for dinner were really quite good, above our expectations.

It's a bit out of the way... which is also what makes it great. I arrived pretty easily by public transport but a car would mean you could explore the local area.

Road to resort a little rough and your vehicle will get very dusty just parked there Small price to pay.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Had numerous meals at the restaurant over my couple of stays there. Every meal I had was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We've been there a handful of times. It's small. The beach is for the most part empty. The food is very good and reasonably priced as are the drinks. It is quaint & lovely. It's been there for 20 yrs & the owner lives onsite. We'll be going again next year hopefully.

A little pricey but worth the splurge. Carefull on the road coming in if you have a low clearance car. Dust from road will absolutely cover your car.

we had the best time in the resort! the beach is huge and so beautiful. the service was good and the food was very nice as well. would highly recommend it! the whole pool area and the garden is great and the pool is very clean and has a very nice temperature

This is an awesome little place on the beach with great service and reliable bar/restaurant within steps. Conveniently charges to your room. And horses are right next door!

It's not really a "resort" the way someone from North America might view a resort. But if you've done your research and looked at the photos and the reviews, you'll have appropriate expectations. It's tucked away, and a little difficult to find (we had a local friend who picked us up and dropped us off, so it was fine, because she knew the area. The road is full of pot holes, so just take your time driving and you'll be fine!

This place was everything we needed in late August! Quiet, just a few people staying. Walk to the beach from your breakfast coffee and you could see the water from almost every room. The pool (I didn't use it) was perfect for lap swimming and very, very clean. No obnoxious smell of chlorine, so not sure how they cleaned it, but somebody obviously did, we could see him maintaining it every day, and the water was always immaculate. The restaurant is open air, so got a little sticky and we took a couple showers every day despite the cooling breezes available all day and night. There's a shower to rinse off the sand or sea water before getting in the pool. Our room was very spacious, with a safe and a big TV (we didn't watch it). Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Very, very CLEAN. Powerful in-room airconditioning. Hammocks right outside our door. Food at the restaurant was excellent, reasonably priced, cocktails were also very good. The staff, although somewhat limited English, bent over backwards to serve. They were very professional, friendly, and the food was well presented and generous. We would definitely stay here next time we're visiting our friend in Las Lajas.

The glass doors/windows could be cleaner, when it comes to enjoying the view from the room. Lots of fingerprints and dirt. The hotel has a more simple setup compared to some other hotels in the area. Could do with some more lighting in the beachfront area to enjoy the beach at night for example. Perhaps some small tables to put drinks/food on too. Menu surprisingly has very lackluster fish/seafood options. No whole fish for one. Unfortunately very basic TVs. Not smart, so they don't have Netflix or any streaming services. However the cable worked fine for our stay, and you can switch between languages on some channels if you play around with the settings a bit. The hammocks on the balcony are a nice touch, but it's a bit of a shame you can't really see the beach too well when laying on them, as the big perimeter of the balcony obscures the view. Not the hotel's fault, but the lady in the room next to us was very noisy when she was outside for a good few hours and took away from the enjoyment of the sounds of the ocean. The king suite has a shared balcony, so this is unpredictable who you will share that space with.

Great views, delicious food and drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful when making any requests. Some lovely little dogs around that the owner understandably chased away, but for us added to the positivity of the experience. Well maintained surrounding area and part of the beach. Clean and neat presentation. Extremely comfortable bed, some of the best sleep I've had in a while. Bathroom was very well stocked with different shampoos, conditioner and facial care products. A nice change from the small little packaged products you can find provided in many hotels.

The pool had green algae on the bottom. Someone came to clean it and only did half of it before leaving. Some maintenance issues on the property were easy fixes needed done.

Location to the beach. The staff and restaurant were excellent. Other guests were easy to visit with.

The beach loungers aren't as comfortable as they could be. Several guests brought their own.

Gorgeous beach. Large rooms. Good food and drinks. Friendly staff. Lisa offers amazing massages. I'll be sure to schedule another on my next visit.
