Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Costa RicaThe elevators and rooms use a key card. The readers intermittently work. You had to go to the front desk to get a new one. Every guest in the hotel had the same problem. It was aggravating because you could not get the elevator to go to your floor and/or open the door to your room. Ironically, one of the elevators worked without it.

It’s was close to a lot of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Uber is easily accessible. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

United StatesUpon checking in, the room that I received looked terrible. It looks like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were stains on the carpet. I was able to switch rooms after speaking with the receptionist. After my room was changed I realize that there were no towels in my room. I went back down to the receptionist desk to ask for some towels. The nice and courteous gentlemen that helped me check in and situate my room weren’t there any more, instead there was this bitter lady that refused to help. I asked for some towels for my room and a fridge and she responded by saying “she’ll have to check with house keeping” to see if I can get some towels. Which seemed weird to me. She completely disregarded my need for a fridge in my room. S/n: the previous room that I had, there was a fridge in there. After waiting in my room for over an hour for the towels I requested but never received I went back down to the receptionist desk and there he was, the worker that made my stay very enjoyable (he was one of the workers that helped me check in) I explained to him that I requested towels over an hour ago and I didn’t receive them. He apologized and immediately put in a request for someone to bring me towels. Within 5 mins of returning to my room I heard a knock at the door (it was my towels being delivered). Overall the 2 gentle men that helped me throughout my stay, thank you very much. They were friendly, kind, and inviting. However that lady that refused to do her job & honor the simple request I made, I hope she had the day she deserves. Thank you very much to those 2 workers.
The property is close by a lot of restaurants both local and chain restaurants (Starbucks, Burger King, KFC etc)

United StatesI've stayed here before and was disappointed this time. The bed was not comfortable and there was mold on the ceiling and the bathtub was really dirty and the AC was not good. I loved my stay here the first time and would like to return but I'm hoping it's cleaned up before I book again.
