Pretty expensive compared to other places

On arrival, it became apparent very quickly that my roommate was a smoker, and although she tried to mask the smell with perfumes, it didn't help. It would have been nice to have smoke-free options where none of the occupants sharing a room smoked or at least been asked if I minded sharing with a smoker.

Plenty of space and accommodation options available, and the facility was lovely and clean..

Good location between the park & main buzz of the town. Comfortable room, even in the dorm, felt like a private space.

One of window lock was broken, but it was still safe with remaining one. The room space is really tiny, making people hard to open their luggage!

We ordered twin beds with private bathroom, the bed was good to sleep.

Nothing much the bathroom a bit industrial and the room ran a little hot and we couldn’t turn down the heat

The property was really modern and really clean with excellent facilities. This felt like a very small hotel rather than a hostel and was really good value for money and much needed comfort after a long day travelling. Parking at the back of the facility is good too and walking distance to the main restaurants etc

No direct access from the property parking at the back into the place. Had to go around along the driveway again to go inside. Was kinda frustrating due to the rain during our stay.

It is clean with a modern design. It has a communal lounge and kitchen, available for use to everyone. Can bring in your own food to store in their shared fridges (just to label them). The place is close to the restaurants, so just a quick walk to go through them. It’s close to Kuirau Park as well for a quick leisurely walk.

You can hear the guests in the adjacent room quite clearly, which was a bit distracting when trying to sleep/rest. It would be great to have a hand towel in the toilet too.

The room was a cozy size but really liked that the bed had a curtain by the bed to have some privacy in the dorm room and some power sockets yo charge my phone/computer. The common room was really spacious and had plenty of space for you to enjoy with others or by yourself. Also, the hostel Is right in the heart of the city so it’s a perfect location to everything!

wall is too thin, I can’t sleep because the people next to our room were talking till 12pm, their laughter and sounds are so annoying.

The corridors that connected the dorms and the bathrooms kind of gave the hostel a warehouse/hospital kind of feeling. It felt a bit creepy and cold, not very cosy.

Absolutely loved the common room and kitchen! The staff is also super helpful and friendly.

I think the shower curtain can been designed better than what is there at present... Wet floor outside the curtain not ideal for elderly people. A bit dangerous.

excellent staff attending to our need, we arrived after the closing hour, but was able to follow instruction on the front window. Staff member came down and she met us outside the locked door. Handed us our key and gave us instruction about how to enter the building. She took us to our room. Great after hour service.

We could clearly hear noise from the upstairs unit as the floor there was really noisy and squeaky. Also, the walls were thick, and we heard snoring from somewhere around. The kitchen has seen better days as well.

The room was quite pokey, close quarters. But it did the job and had curtains. The staff didn’t know that much about the area as a traveller herself but tried to help as best she could.

it was a nice place, but I hope they provide bed number or letters on the rooms so the clients will not be just choosing the bed they wanted

staff was really helpful. I had a private room and that was great - however the shared facilities of the kitchen were great and clean too. Its central enough and I managed to find parking tho I suspect its harder to find that during weekdays.
