An outstanding place. A beautiful lodge, first class facilities, heaps of space, very well-designed, clean, comfortable, in a lovely location on the lake. Anne and Matt were friendly and could not have been more hospitable and helpful. We loved the wood stove! This is a great place for an extended family to enjoy time together.

The property was large and spacious. Comfortable bedding and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and a spa out the back to relax in. Lovely wood fire in the living room.

We liked everything about Tikitere Lodge.

A wonderful place to stay, very friendly welcome, the most comfortable beds and log fire. Great for a group of friends or family, sparkling lake behind the property, amazing kayaking and treks near by. Only 15 mins from Rotorua. Anne is a great host and we’re looking forward to retuning for a wonderful lamb roast .

There is nothing not to like!

It was beautifully clean and great layout, attention to detail with insect nets on the windows was superb especially when you need the night air for a great nights sleep in the summer, plus private lake beach access. A great location for rotorua access without having to be in the centre. The hosts were fabulous too!

Everything. Beautiful and cozy house in a beautiful location. Big rooms along with ensuite in each room. Heaps of place for kids in the backyard to play along with swings and trampoline. Private access to lake , free kayaks. The beds, linen, kitchen equipments, furnishing, everything was top notch. Free BBQ and hot tub to relax. On top of it Anne was lovely and her family were really nice and hospitable. They made us feel very comfortable. Thank you. Looking forward to bring my other family members here next time we’re in Rotorua.

The stay couldn't have gone any better, there is nothing to dislike.

Most of the time interactions with the host can make a stay better, not enough can be said for how wonderful the family having us were. Very welcoming and helpful, and above all expectations with the accommodation! Their knowledge of local shops and tourism around the area made our stay extra wonderful.

There is nothing not to like about this property and the owners.

We received the warmest welcome as the owners are wonderful and committed to making our stay exceptional. The location was perfect. I wish we had more time to enjoy the house and surrounding yard activities! The ability to do laundry was so helpful and essential to that point in our trip. We would stay here again over and over!

a litany of delights! so clean, wonderful, spacious, light filled rooms, large comfortable beds with beautiful bed linen & fluffy towels, generously stocked kitchen, bathrooms & laundry, glorious gardens & a private beach on the lake!! in addition the hosts were all graciousness and kind hospitality, even purchasing a birthday cake for my son! we plan to return for an extended stay!!
