If a guest request something such as ice, it might be nice to accommodate or provide a reason it’s not available. Staff very friendly though and offered many attraction suggestions.

It was nice to have breakfast included and the staff work very hard to maintain a high cleanliness level!

Picton is more than just a stopover to catch the ferry!

The room had no fridge and I had trouble with the wifi when the recommended one didn't seem to work. My greeting on arrival was a bit abrupt but after that the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was fairly compact with no fridge. The property was centrally located in Picton close cafes, bars and restaurants and handy to the harbour, some walks and the passenger ship terminal. It was convenient for dropping off the hire car and walk on foot to embark on the trip to Wellington the next morning. Breakfast was adequate.

Great breakfasts with homemade jam for my toast and gluten-free options available. Great for me being coeliac. Lovely, friendly staff that were happy to have a chat and find out about my work trip, and clearly take pride in the accommodation they have to offer. Clean, tidy rooms, in a historical building (that you can read about in the books and leaflets available) with a well-maintained pool and grounds. Close to town, the ferries, and water taxis in Picton. Home away from home.

The noisy shower fan - we were up early to catch the ferry - I thought it might wake others up.

The friendly service was great. They were so welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean & the bed was oh so comfortable.

Bright light outside our room at night. Blackout curtains would have been helpful.

Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and the ferry. Coral was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for walks and dinner suggestions. This is an historic building, not a purpose built hotel, so don't expect a huge room but ours was comfortable and all we needed. There was a light continental breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt.

Wi fi was spotty; was hit or miss at times. Breakfast. When I think of B&B, breakfast to me includes protein; i.e. eggs or some kind of meat or cheeses. Cereal, fruit and bread are fine but it's not a complete breakfast and for that reason I said the place didn't meet my expectations. Everything else was fine but breakfast IS important to me and I WILL pay for it; I just expect it to have protein.

The staff were great; very nice people. The place was very quiet and had everything I needed. Not overly big but is not overly important.

Warm welcome from the operators of this quaint B&B, and super comfy bed. The room had most things you would expect for an overnight stay. It is not a 5* hotel, so don't expect a hot breakfast or amenities like iron and ironing board!

Smelly (mouldy and old) kitchen cabinet around the sink, description in booking.com different than reality (some equipment was missing), beds very soft and I had to fix one leg at the first night, for such an old and weary unit I found it a bit too pricy. Description is misleading and I read it wrong..I wanted B&B but got Motel...its writen in the nam but I didn't saw it while booking

Unit was large, plenty of space. very friendly and helpful staff
