Hot pool was unavailable and when I asked it wasn't at temperature, so just be aware that may not be an option for you. Quite a few cobwebs in the room, was otherwise clean. No sound insulation whatsoever so you will hear the other guests and doors closing.

Lovely homestay with a friendly host family. Big view and nice Buddhist vibe to the place. Chill dogs. Would like to attend a retreat here. Bed was very comfortable with what seemed like professionally washed sheets.

This B&B was a surprise discovery during my travels! From its charming exterior to its cozy rooms, everything is a delight. The warm hospitality of the B&B owner made me feel at home, and most impressively, the B&B is in a great location with many attractions within walking distance. Next time I visit the area, I will definitely stay at this lovely B&B again!

Feels like staying with a family. Who have the best views of the mountains! We enjoyed some of the delicious farm foods from their farm in the North Island too. Thanks for a beautiful stay:)

The house is beautiful, the room was so cozy and comfortable and warm. Kaari made me feel like home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with a great coffee machine:) Even though it’s not in the city center there’s a bus stop 2 min walk from the house abd it’s a beautiful 7 min trip to the town center. It is a truly magical place.

Karri is such a lovely person and host. She was so helpful. The morning yoga and breakfast was great! We even did a cold plunge into the lake all together after yoga! The rooms and facilities are clean, super warm and homey. We loved our stay here!!

Wifi doesn't really work in the rooms, would have been great if it did! Also the milk in the fridge was expired the whole stay 😅 But the dry cereal was still good!

Wifi didn´t reach the cabin very well, but not really a problem. It helps you to disconnect from everything.

Amazing place to stay, peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. The owners are very welcoming and you feel like home. The view from the lounge and the kitchen is the best, you can watch the sunrise over the lake and mountains while having breakfast.

I had a few fantastic days at Ora Retreat. Like I was at home but even better. The relaxing yoga in the morning, the dip in the ice-cold lake nearby, the pleasant drinking of tea and talking with Cary and the other guests. It was very relaxed and personal. My stay at Ora Retreat will be a lasting memory.

Great location, views superb and bus stop so close and convenient, wasn't a worry at all being a little bit out of town. Greenery outside my windows just as shown in the pictures. Lovely bird songs!

Nothing, except being a very light sleeper, my cabin was next to a road, but it was a minor road and problem 😊

Nice selection of breakfast food and the bonus was a coffee machine with fresh beans. The location was amazing, plus the morning yoga with Kaari and dip in the lake. There was also a walking track, very nearby, with amazing views.

A long way to bathroom.

Nice atmosphere, quiet, breakfast provided , including fruit, electric blanket on as I arrived. Staff lit fire in living room at night time, great views
