Door lock needs tightening on rm21 please, the screws were loose and I couldn't lock room when I went to the loo. Was unable to open window for fresh air.

Simple accommodation for low price. Great location. Easy to get in and out. Nice staff. Reasonably quiet for a pub. Taa.

The staff member that took care of us really needs to work on her customer service. Most places i’ve been to, the person taking care of the customers doesn’t usually just poke the room keys at you and then just gap it… No “your room is up there and to the left, please enjoy the facilities” no kiss my azz, nothing.. Also you usually don’t just receive an eye-roll when being asked if you’re ready to order yet but you’re still waiting for family members to make their way into the establishment.

I liked the old school nature of the establishment.

It’s about the most basic place I’ve ever stayed in. Did the job, could be amazing if money was spent on it getting it out of the 60s. More like a dorm. Staff were great! I got what I paid for.

Dinner was fantastic ..great service, huge quantities, tasted great. Nice staff highly recommend dinner. The place is old but we liked it. TV room had sky TV and cozy couches. Thank you 😊 J

Very central which was great. Cool bar downstairs too! Sky tv was perfect for my kid. Air con was good for the heat.

We needed a space at very short notice and they came through. The place had character, an old character with historical charm.

It’s too old and so run down. It’s not very clean and the tap is leaking. It’s a waste of water. There is no noise proof and you hear anything happening outside the room.

The bed wasn't very comfortable as pillows were quite flat and it was disappointing it didn't have a small bar fridge as it would be nice to have a cold drink without having to buy one twice in a day as temperature outside was hot

It was great in location being right in town and lot of history in the building it was lovely having the the air con and own bathroom and easy access to Wi-Fi The staff were friendly and approachable and helpful and easy to find when needed.

Bathrooms were not clean enough. there were no tee coffee facility. No basic requirements of a hotel. No staff contact number or anyoneone at the premise after hours.

No where to sit in room other than bed, and although the lounge was spacious it looked like there was years of coffee cup stains on table hadn't been wiped.The communal kitchen was worse very dirty and unhygienic wouldn't recommend using it, most shocking was the toilet wasn't cleaned and stained brown from the last guest !Shower didn't drain quickly so standing in a pool when showering, had only 1 plug for TV cord only so no charging phones had to unplug TV to do so.

Lounge room had an excellent TV to enjoy Great location central so walking distance to all local restaurants and shops, bed was comfortable, shower was nice and good water flow, had Air conditioning which was nice.

Leaking sink in the room. The room not being properly cleaned (there was still a belt from someone on the floor). No one at the desk when we came in so we had to search for someone.

The upgrade we got because at first they gave us a room which was being renovated. But tbh this upgrade wasn't that special.

The building is historic, interesting to stay at just is dated.

The room suited the 3 of us, it had a tv, we had use of the communal kitchen to make coffee, the beds we’re comfortable and the shower was hot.
