Highly recommend this accommodation. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was great to have a lovely new kitchenette with a stone benchtop. The photos don't do it justice. It was especially great having dedicated parking and having many different eateries / takeaway options just across the road. The lovely lady at the reception warmly greeted us and, even though the motel is on a main road, it was very quiet in our room. We would definitely stay again.

Arghhh.... I even video'd this but the aircon starting up each time, sounded like a big truck was driving past. It did take a few seconds to calm down. I could not work out where the noice was coming from. Realised it was the Aircon unit in the main area, that also backed onto the bathroom wall.

Very basic kitchen equipment (small pan and tiny cooking pot in a room that sleeps 4). Other pottery was also not available upon request at reception. Perhaps this could be upgraded...

New motel, very clean rooms. Good location to drive to (along the highway) but a 45 min walk into town. Fastfood restaurants and a large supermarket across the street. Despite the highway, it was very quiet inside the rooms.

The spa pool was filthy and I felt bad about having to waste the water because when the jets were switched on, the water turned brown.

There was a bit of noise with people staying in units above our one but not worth making a song and dance about.

My Mother had an issue getting in the bed on the first night. We informed the office of the issue. They Purchased something to make it easy to get out of the bed and this made it great to get in the bed.

Not spending longer at Newina Rotorua.

Deluxe queen with two queen beds $598 (two nights) Beautifully appointed, perfect in every way. Not a single negative. Great location, free dedicated parking, very comfortable beds, great shower. Definitely a "Will Stay Here Again"

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a fabulous stay with my husband and two young children. Directly across the road form the skyline gondola. Greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked us in super quick. Booked a room with 2 queen beds which had our own private spa outside in a nice private courtyard. The beds were super comfortable with electric blankets and I loved the lighting in the room with lamps everywhere which you can create a lovely ambience. The room was faultless clean, the kitchenette was fantastic and the bathroom with bath was lovely, clean and warm. With young children it was amazing that all the quick convenience food shops were only meters away across the road and fuel and a supermarket! Only minutes from the main city of Rotorua where we enjoyed so many wonderful eateries. We were super happy that we chose a hotel just slightly out of the Rotorua CBD. I would highly recommend staying here. Special mention to Selina, the lovely receptionist? who was so friendly and accommodating.

The facilities were great, the beds were very comfortable and firm. The small kitchenette had everything you needed (microwave, stove top, fridge, teapot and coffee plunger). The towels were very plush and large. The best part was the outdoor spa pool although it took some time to fill up it was wonderful and nice that they don't reuse water from previous guests.

Staff is very nice and friendly. They have apples at reception to share with everyone. It is very convenience to those customers who come late but still have fresh fruits. Room is clean and tidy.
