I didn’t like that you could hear people walking in the room above us. We had an issue with the spa in our room. But the manager was very quick to respond and get it fix. And was happy to move us to another room with one that was working.

This is a fantastic location. Very clean and our room was cleaned daily as well. Very tidy. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but was still a good bed to sleep in. The staff were very friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. The room was a great size. I really like that it had a great size kitchenette and all its ammenities. The room had a very new and updated feel. Large bathroom with a lovey shower over a bath too.

The flimsy glass in the shower, thought it was going to break when i accidentally knocked it and swung against the shower head, other than that, very nice bathroom

Nothing to put here

It is straight opposite several fast food outlets and a large Woolworths supermarket. It was well appointed and brand new with good internet and kitchen facilities That suited us as we ended up making dinner in the first night and breakfast both mornings. The restaurant is not open yet as they were waiting for council licensing and sign off. Spotlessly clean.

We stayed just for one night at Newina Rotorua but we enjoyed it. There was free parking and the room was very large and comfortable. The location was good. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Immaculate in and out of Newina, and in and out of our spa suite aswell. Loved having the spa outside of our suite. Loved the kitchenette. It was a spacious suite. Customer service was exceptional. Especially after having to travel from outside of Rotorua. The hotel also has a pool and gym and sauner. The hotel is in a convenient spot. Across the road is the supermarket, take aways and all of the fairy springs activities. It's also just down the road from the city centre. Value for money and would definitely book again. While it did take a long time to fill the spa, I appreciated that self filling meant we weren't swimming in anyone else's spa and we knew this first hand.

Whilst we had no conflict with him, the male receptionist/ manager/owner was not really very welcoming. Being an older person I would have appreciated a handle or grip to make entry and exit from the shower over the bath much safer. The occupants in the unit above us seemed to spend hours clonking around so we heard allt this through the wooden floors

Ability to drive car right up to the front door of the property. The spa pool was an excellent facility especially for the 5 year old in our party. The apartment was relatively spacious.

Great facilities, comfortable beds. My kids loved the heated pool and our own hot tub. We enjoyed the sauna, it was simple and small but perfect just for me and my partner. It had everything that my family needed for a comfortable stay.
