    Limited cooking facilities and utensils but we made do with a simple meal.

    Very comfortable beds, probably the best we slept in during our holiday. Loved the character of the chalets and access to laundry facilities appreciated. Very friendly and helpful staff.

    Lovely old school chalet. Had all we needed for a night on the road. Staff were great and place was clean and bedding lovely. The MOW bar in town was excellent.

    Not a lot of activity within walking distance.. but POPPIES CAFE is outstanding,.. great food, great beer, and great staff, do NOT miss..

    Loved it - Quirky, eco, interesting, fun, location. Good history about the area nd the dam building.. very interesting... frisbee golf across on green.

    Not enough lights upstairs. Parents feel unsafe with very dim light especially needing to go the stairs

    I like the Location friendly staff. The chalet was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and had good night sleep. Will book this place again on my next trip. Highly recommended.

    limited TV channels, basic items in kitchen were missing, spatula, teaspoons and tea towel.

    Bed was most comfortable so far in our 4 nights away. Towels were lovely. Not far from town, easy walk, quick drive to town. Unit was roomy.

    Staff not that friendly, facilities quite dated, small telly with very little channels.

    Good location to use as a base, walkable to centre where there were shops and restaurants.

    Would like to have stayed longer.

    The room was ready so I was allowed into the room which was fabulous. Very tidy and comfortable. The bed was comfy and had a good sleep. A close walk to town and the supermarket.

    Room was smaller than other motels we’ve stayed in.

    Convenient location for visiting Mount Cook area & Hooker Valley track (50 mins drive to Mt Cook village). Room was adequate for a short stay and the pillows were great! Parking right outside room.

    Stove was a bit old but worked well.

    Great spot to stop after walking the hooker valley track. A complete chalet with kitchen , bathroom , and two bedrooms .
