The shower was a little small but not really much to fault honestly

We stayed in the family self contained cabin. Room number 1. It was lovely and warm when we arrived. The heaters were turned on, my name was written on a paper and stuck on the window so I could easily navigate my way to the room when I arrived at 10pm. The beds were cosy, cabin was very clean and presentable and overall the stay was very enjoyable. Sufficient for our needs.

The room was freezing 🥶 and the heater was not powerful enough to heat the rooms so we turned the stove on as well.

Manager went out of his way to organise the best option our stay. Due to a vehicle issue, he arranged for us to stay an extra night, but when it was not needed, kindly gave us a refund. Excellent location for some nice bush walks. Handy to the CBD.

We were staying with quite a large party & found that the facilities met our needs. We were able to use the kitchen & dining facilities one evening & they catered for all of our large party. Our cabin was comfortable., quiet & cosy.

The key to my cabin wouldn't work properly so I spent some time trying to lock and unlock the door. I think I finally got the knack of closing it which seemed to be to slam the door and then immediately turn the key. The common showering facilities were a little cramped for the older person who isn't as lithe as she used to be and the fact that the water could move up to the space where one was trying to dress, was a problem if a garment fell into the water. I managed however to stay dry. I found the booking system somewhat confusing. I never was quite sure how to input book-in and check-out dates or to see what exactly was available and at what price.

I found the cheapest accommodation close to the location that was the reason for my trip; and it ensured a warm and comfortable sleep. I was able to use my computer easily, and I could store food etc and be reasonably self-sufficient. I had to postpone my first trip for reasons beyond my control and even though it was beyond the time envelope when that cancellation was free, I was not charged. When one is on a pension and the trip is family-related, that sort of reasonableness is appreciated.

A lot of noise from downstairs where the laundry and kitchen were but this stopped at 10pm when those areas were closed. Soap dispenser in shower not working so we had to purchase shower gel from the supermarket.

Lots of room in the upstairs apartment with a dining table, full kitchen and good size tv. Close to the lounge downstairs for table tennis games. Close to Dunedin central.

noticed the fridge had a bad spice smell from Indian food or the like, and being closed up. I left it open while i was away in the evening and once i chanced out, to air it out. I suggest either leave the door ajar between every guest or a small box of baking soda open in there. I didnt use the fridge and a lot of people wouldnt either so the smell could get worse and worse. Also bathroom could be warmer- I dont think the heater is working when the timer is on even
