We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

One bed was broken, and that was fine as we slept on the second bed , air con didn't work so it was very stuffy most the time but the staff gave us fans that helped a little bit, staff were very Kind though , someone kept slamming doors most of the night but overall 6 and a half out of 10 for Stay.

New ZealandShower pressure was not good at all, spa and pools needed to be warmer. I don’t like that the main access was from the front, side doors were always locked. I was injured so it would be nice to not have to walk all the way to the front door.

New ZealandThe walls are a little thin so can hear much noise from your neighbours. We stayed just for one night on a quick visit so didn't get to make much use of the hotel.
Good location although google maps took us to somewhere different at first for some reason. The price is cheap which is why i booked here for a quick trip to Rotorua. Friendly front desk staff.

Good place to retreat to enjoyed the spa & the room & the lime tree lol😉 staff at desk were not informant enough seemed withdrawn in fact not all but a couple however the buffet breakfast was terrible for 35$ i could have went to a quaint little cafe & got better it was unusual to see boiled eggs still in the shell on the buffet seemed a bit weird the muffins were so hard that i almost broke a tooth im sure they were a couple of weeks old & the sausies were like rubber the kranskies were overcooked as well the muesli was stale & there was no fresh bread to toast only dry stale croissants such a damn shame because the buffett staff were lovely A Good juice selection but no teaspoons at the hot beverages & no hot chocolate i was very dissappointed in the kai so get rid of the chef!!!!! Yes i would go back to stay but will avoid the buffet at all costs rotorua copthorne is no where near as good as copthorne paihia the buffet is bomb & fresh kai & the service is as well sharpen up your spade rotorua

Everything was good- the night manager was great from start to finish, can't member his name now, but looked after us! We had a lot of rubbish, and staff seeing this, switched out our bin for a bigger one!

New ZealandOur room was not cleaned properly and there were hairs all over one of the bed covers. The room had not been vacuumed properly. There was dirt around the base of the toilet in the bathroom. There were not enough towels for all 4 of us.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They fixed an issue we had in our room quickly and without fuss and gave us a drink to make up for the inconvenience.
