We traveled as a whānau of 8 to Rotorua to celebrate our babies first birthday. Being Easter, there wasn't alot of availability so we were lucky to find the retreat that could house us all. The home was amazing. It catered to all our needs, especially for baby. The rooms were spacious, everything was clean and tidy. There was a portacot, and highchair which was great - we didn't have to bring ours. Having a bath was great! Thank you for the extra treats of Easter eggs & biscuits - such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back!

The location was convenient to by-pass the centre of Rotorua and travel to the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest for mountain biking and Wai-o-Tapu Thermal park, but otherwise wouldn't recommend the street or neighbourhood. The otherwise comfortable house is let down a little by the dilapidated state of the yard and street frontage, with a very pot-holed shared driveway. Our family was bemused by the series of multiple speed bumps along the street for several blocks (not just for the school) each time we drove (slowly!) from town back to the house.

Great communication from hosts, easy check in and a very comfortable stay. House is exactly as described and our family made good use of the laundry facilities and full kitchen. Appreciated the generous gesture of providing cookies and coffee plunger! Separate toilet from main bathroom was also a bonus. Our family really enjoyed the sights and activities offered by Rotorua, especially the free thermal park in town and walkways around the edge of the lake. Capizzi Pizzeria in the centre of town did great wood-fired pizzas. Highly recommend taking the detour to Orakei Korako Cave & Thermal Park on the way to Lake Taupo.

The very low fence was pain and damaged our car while were returning. Owner should do something about it to not damage others cars

Very clean unlike other places , had everything we needed , heat pump was great in the hot weather . Cookies were great as a welcome gift.

One of the couches had a slight crack in the frame, it was fine but we staired clear of it just incase it broke haha... I think the Neighbours could have been a bit more friendly, otherwise, it was perfect!!

It was absolutely amazing. very lovely quiet and cozy indeed. Very easy to maintain and owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Wifi was easy to connect to, tv had full access to streaming sites and the house was absolutely immaculate.

Cute house that had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the little Christmas tree, was a very nice touch.

The only thing that was minor was that we didn't realise that we would be sharing a driveway with the neighbours up the back until the day before our stay, and they had people coming and going a lot. Which isn't necessarily bad, just something we didn't realise when booking.

This was a lovely home away from home for our time in Rotorua. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were easy to contact if needed.

Ran out of hot water on the first day after 2 short showers when there were 4 of us. The neighbours puppy kept us awake. No heater in one the bedrooms.

Pictures were exactly how it appeared when I booked through booking.com . Me and my family were welcomed by a note with a bag of cookies that we were very impressed by. It felt like home. Communication with the owner was great. We checked in around 5pm and it was a cold arrival in Rotorua. Was a bonus to have a heat pump as it made our stay very warm especially for our young kids. Everything you will need was provided, Clean bedding, clean Towels, coffee, Milo, tea, sugar even Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash (I'm not talking about the small amount that you receive at a hotel/motel).. You won't need to supply your own. We over packed for with our toiletries lol The house is a shared drive way with the back house. Cars come and go, my family and I were used to the sound of traffic going in and out of the shared drive way. We live on the main road in Auckland so it didn't bother us. Definitely worth the value. We will definitely come back!! THANK YOU!!

The flat was great, very warm and cozy. Kitchen appliances were great, kettle and hob were available. Each room had a small heater as well, and had nice thick duvets. Host was lovely and helped us with a few recommendations and made the room feel extra welcome.

The neighbours were a little loud but there is nothing the owners can do about it.

The property is very well equipped, with more than you need on a vacation. It is neat and looked after. The rooms are spacious. Beds were comfortable and warm.

Shared drive was a pain, had to get close to house to park my suv, if I had smaller vehicle would have been easier. Overall was still good value for money and would book again but bring my car next time.

Neighbors. as it was a shared driveway the back house stayed up allnight walking up and down the driveway shouting etc , All hours of the morning which made it hard for the kids to get proper sleep .
