The only thing that could worry some people is the proximity to State Highway 5 (it is only about 75 metres away and the cottages have a direct frontage to it) and the resultant noise of passing traffic could be heard in the cottages despite being double glazed. While traffic eases a lot at night, some traffic noise is still audible and therefore a light sleeper may not sleep too well. Everything else is so good, this issue would not stop me booking again with this host.

Our cottage was relatively new, very clean and well set up with almost everything you would need in a self-catering situation. The full kitchen is excellent with an oven and good sized fridge. The bathroom is modern with a shower and good quality towels. There was a selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and other basic essentials. The air con was very effective for heating given it was quite cold at night when we were there. The view over the golf course and countryside was excellent as was the contact with the host. There is a well maintained hot tube and very clean BBQ facilities for the use by guests in the three cottages. The relatively easy drive of about 8 kms to the centre of Rotorua takes about 10-12 minutes.

Love everything it was beautiful lovely location price was worth the money owner was so lovely very helpful it honestly felt like a home away from home absolutely would go again and again we didnt get to try out the spa n bbq but trust me had it been a hot afternoon wud have been perfect for a bbq and a nice soak in the tub so next time will defs try out❤️❤️❤️💯

This accommodation is absolutely spectacular . No Faults at ALL, we stayed in the TUI cabin. Immaculate, all the facilities you need, bedding very comfortable especially the grey blankets super snuggly ☺️ Host done a fantastic job this will be our go to place from now on when we visit Rotorua. I loved everything but if i could say, it would be thw window in bathroom where looking in from the outside, you can see the figure when someone is using the bathroom.

Location, coziness and the spa. It was clean and warm with easy to use tv apps. Being situated off a SH, yoh wouldnt even think it but it was definitely peaceful.

Noise from the highway. Maybe some more trees along the highway would help to buffer.

Property is quite close to the main highway, so traffic is a bit noisy. There was only one heating facility (heat pump), would have been better if there was another heater as it was quite cold at times.

The location is about 20mins from the main area of Rotorua which was not a problem but what we didn't like was that it is located right on the highway and there was no sign or marking on the road to turn right which made driving quite dangerous. One day we were coming back from Rotorua and while turning right to the property, the sun was right in my eyes and I had to take a blind turn and any car coming from the opposite would have surely hit...i think this point is quite crucial for all visiting here.

It was a cosy place with lush green surroundings. The greenary attracted us most and secluded cottage to our own made it special. Amenities provided was more than what we needed and we hade almost no interaction with anyone out there.

The signage is a big problem while you are traveling on the motorway and suddenly you have to stop for your location. Otherwise place is very nice and at serene area.

Constant traffic noise, it's right on the highway. Not a huge thing and not enough to interrupt sleep or anything, just noticeable when trying to relax in the hot-tub, or on the deck with a nice quiet drink.

Close enough to Rotorua to be a quick drive into the city and attractions. The cabin itself was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Lyn was very helpful on arrival with any details we needed as well.
