The bed wasn't made properly and I had to remake it late at night as I couldn't find staff on the desk and was tired and just wanting to sleep. The bottom sheet was too small for the bed and when I first climbed in, it didn't cover the bottom 1/3 of the mattress and when I remade it i couldn't tuck it in the top and bottom of the bed. The room and bathroom had a lot of old paint and rough look for a hilton. The shower had 3 bottles of supplied toiletries but one had fallen off the wall, leaving a silica ring where it was attached, they had replaced this by fixing the bottle to the window in the shower that mean the window couldn't be opened. The glass sliding door between the bathroom and lounge allowed for little auditory privacy when in the bathroom.

The staff on arrival were friendly and accommodating, noticed it was my birthday and making us feel welcome with a treat and birthday card left in our room while we were out for dinner. The room was well presented and the parking easy to enter.

The were big balls of hair behind the curtains, but easily missed. It also would've been good to have accessible power points next to the bed. The price of parking was ridiculous

I liked the size of the room. It was comfortable. The staff the greeted me were lovely.

We constantly had to chase up house keeping to come and clean/service the room. We would be gone all day come back to the hotel at 5/6pm and the room still had not been serviced. Multiple times I went to the front desk with wet towels or just to get some toilet paper. Was a bit disappointing considering this was our first time staying in the well known "hilton". We also had tradies walking along the roof which was level with our room for the entirety of our stay making noise with their drills and screw guns and chatting literally at our window!!!

Great room and view of the lake. Short drive from town and keeps you away from the busy CBD. There was some cute restraunts and pubs on the premisis. The room was lovely and the reception staff were great!

My room was opposite the Stacks bar, the music was on until what felt like quite late. I had to get up early so was keen for an early night

Location was great from the airport easy to get to with our own vehical. Got shifted to Hilton which was unexpected but lovely. Space was gorgeous comfortable and quiet

The shower had a terrible drainage system where it leaked all over the floor. I felt really bad about this and for the cleaners. We did mop it up at the end of our stay but at the expense of handing back super wet towels. The room was quite untidy, the mirror wasn’t cleaned and there was a bit of dust around. It was generally messy for quite a respected hotel. Seeing we got upgraded, we didn’t want to complain but the view of scaffold wasn’t the best. Otherwise it was good, minor things!

We came down to Queenstown for a wedding at Jacks Point so the Hilton seemed like a sensible place to stay nearby. We originally booked DoubleTree but we were upgraded to the Hilton. It was great having access to the Hilton facilities, especially the pool. The room was comfortable, with a large bathroom and plenty of space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking was available if you park at the top of the hill and walk down, otherwise you can pay for valet or day time parking by the hotel. The room was nice and warm and had all the amenities needed :)
