We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandLooks better in the photos, the grounds were untidy, lawns were maintained to a very minimal level, rooms felt very old and outdated. Wallpaper peeling off walls, yellow color that was going brown Would have preferred a sofa in the living area rather than a single bed, made watching the television in the evenings awkward and uncomfortable. Lighting was insufficient and located off center leaving the room feeling dark. Heating was only avalible in the living room by means of a instaheat panel, this left the bedroom very cold Wifi was free but was slow and often cut out. Property has potential, needs small investment
Location was good, easy to find on main road, close to supermarkets, eateries and town. Very accessible to New Plymouth if you dont mind the half hour trip into the city

New ZealandUnit was scruffy, signs of would in the main bedroom, booking made for 2 people but only 1 cup and 1 mug in the unit, both of which were still wet along with the meagre cutlery in the draw. For a 2 bedroom unit it was poorly furnished, double bed and 3 singles but the table only had 3 uncomfortable chairs and a very small and uncomfortable 2 seater couch. Dirty oven, no milk, 3 coffee sachets and a few teabags

New ZealandNo dish cloths or tea towels, but were supplied when asked for. No face cloths in bathroom. No soap or hand/body wash in bathroom. Nowhere to put soap etc while having a shower. Only 1 dessert spoon in kitchen, cutlery a bit sparse in general. Would have been nice to have 2 armchairs, for comfort. - We didn't cook anything, only used the toaster, so satisfactory for us. The teabags were stale. No milk in fridge.
The location was good. Just an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable. The unit was warm, great heater.

New ZealandUnfortunately, I had to supply a few things to make our stay more comfortable, and it was more like a budget glamping stay than a motel/hotel. Not fazed by it being emergency housing at all, but it does need a good makeover and ant control. Didn't have all cutlery, dinner wear, it's not a kitchenette as such, used the element, but not the benchtop oven (was not clean) very dusty musty, stale cigarette smell.
Comfortable bed, hot shower, wifi, quite end room, dry and warm. For the price and need for the stay, it was fine. We had read the online reviews, so we knew what to expect.

AustraliaAnts on the kitchen sink. No milk. No teatowel. Filthy carpet but we could choose another room but was right by the busy road. Spa doesn't work yet is advertising with it. In general very poor and shabby but the guy was really nice and tried his best. Not extra pillows.

Unfortunately there was a stench that greeted us when we entered the premises.if my partner wasn't so sick I would have vacated on the spot. I went to use the grille and the tray was dirty,stains on the chairs. Bed was comfy clean bathroom.Very disappointed I had booked a 2nd night but just couldn't cope with the smell. We visit regularly and I like to support local businesses, but won't be returning to this property.

NetherlandsThe appartment was a little outdated and someone had damaged some furniture and so, which is a shame. The ligthing was a bit poor, perhaps replacing some broken lightbulbs will help (minor fix).
The appartment is located near the main street, however the traffic noise will die down during the night. It has a kitchen, which I didn't use, and a table with chairs to sit at. The manager is a friendly young man, who will help you when needed. The restaurants are within walking distance and sightseeing locations are around, use car. It is not the most luxurious but it will suit your stay for a couple of days with the experience of a small NZL town.

New ZealandBut it was very shabby - holes in the walls, several lights that didn’t go, ripped wall paper, a fridge that was difficult to open, because on carpet, no bowls to eat cereal from, an insecure , in-stuck piece of vinyl in the entrance doorway that could cause a trip., burn mark on floor vinyl. It was pretty horrible to be honest. I realise the motels may be used for emergency housing - and good on you for doing that.
Bed was comfortable and clean. Shower was good. It had almost everything we needed.
