Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

New ZealandThe apartment had good views and in a great location. A good pool, with only a few minor maintenance issues in the unit. The hdmi cord is only doing video without audio (replace), a print out of the degrees and functions for the elements would be handy as they are rubbed off, thorough self check in directions, but I would put the "don't read the code out loud" at the start, not after the code lol. The bed was very uncomfortable and not fit for purpose, springs are starting to jutt out the side, and like the tv, it's too small. The bed is the only big issue, after checking in late from our flight, finding the bedding smelled and had not been cleaned, was a real disappointment, as you can imagine. We washed these the next day, I would have a word with the cleaners if this is there job. Despite all that, we very much enjoyed our stay and it was great value. With a new bed I would give it a 10/10 and stay again. Cheers

New ZealandDidn't like the fact there was no top sheet on the bed, just a duvet that you didn't know if had been washed since last guest or not. Also the shower pressure was great but bathroom design was such that it was impossible to stop water going out the door, the carpet in this area was completely rotten, not a lot of upkeep done here.
Getting the key card was well explained and simple to follow, the room had everything you could possibly need and was nice to have a balcony and a view.

Shower curtain needs to lengthened to the floor. thread bare carpet is a very bad look, All the blinds need attention to allow them to close, rise and fall and a clean shows the general condition of the property.

New Zealandthe beds. The main bed is maybe a double and super soft, moves all over the place. The futon in the living area is like concrete, even an 11 year Old couldn't sleep on it. Would not recommend the beds. Communication with the host before we went was great, After, I've emailed him and after 1 week still haven't had an answer. Shower is great, didn't get to use the hot tub or pool unfortunately. So many instructions to get the keys from the third lockbox in the middle of the bike rack round the side, thankfully we got the key in the day time. Wouldn't not recommend for more than 2 adults.
