Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

I don’t know where to start - it was the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed at! Gerry was an incredible host, so attentive and respectful of our privacy at the same time. She provided everything and MORE, and even helped us with our laundry. As we’ve been on the road for almost 2 weeks at that point, her kindness was soooo appreciated. Thank you Gerry for all you’ve done for us - you really made our honeymoon wonderful!

New ZealandThere's not much we didn't like about Blue Skies. Probably maybe a small sink in the kitchenette part.
We loved everything about Blue Skies. The location was perfect as we didn't have to go into the busy hustle and bustle of Queenstown. It was easy to get to local supermarkets and shops, which were close by in Frankton, and also to fantastic walking spots. The host was fantastic. One night we were late in getting back and the lights and heat pump were on for us which was great. Our dishes were done and even any laundry. Lovely little touches of fresh towels daily and a little sweet treat on our pillows. Very dog friendly which was awesome as we had our Golden Retriever with us who was allowed inside too. We also had our own fenced in yard which was perfect.

United StatesNothing, this place is beyond our expectation, and we think it is an awesome place to stay in Queenstown. We will recommend our friends to stay there if they visit.
The accommodation is the best place we stayed during our 2 week trip in New Zealand. It is comfortable, nice, and clean. The host Gerry did a lot to make sure we enjoy our stay. She provided different kinds of breakfast, helped take care of the dirty dishes and laundry and she left a lovely message and snack for us every day! We enjoyed all the details, decorations, garden and we did stargazing at the back porch at night!

This self contained studio is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The host, Gerry, is so welcoming with lots of special touches too. A lovely location in a residential estate on the outskirts of Queenstown so handy for going into town or out to Arrowtown etc. We would definitely stop here again if we revisit Queenstown.

HungaryThe apartment was very nice, cosy and clean. There is no hot plate and sink in the kitchen, which is only problem, if you want to cook. We did not want though. Gerry is a super kind host. She was taking care of us very well, making us feel at home. Plenty of little attentivness was there for us, like greeting card, flower, chocolate, bread, useful informations about the area... Washing and dishwasing service is provided by her. Gerry has made everything clean and in order. The location was well aprochable, no problem with the traffic.

This place is AMAZING. We have stayed in hotels and vacation rentals all over the world and we found the best hostess and hospitality at Blue Skies. Before we even arrived, we got an email saying the room was ready early and to check in whenever we liked. Upon arrival, there were all sorts of goodies and breakfast items waiting for us. When we met Gerry, one of the first things she offered was to do laundry for us. Talk about going above and beyond. There were little personalized notes all over the room. She gave us ideas on places to go and places to eat. When we returned late from Milford Sound our laundry was folded and waiting for us. I promise you will not find a better hostess anywhere. I try to rate all the places we stay and most usually have good scores, but Blue Skies deserves better. At least a 12 out of 10 and a 20 for our hostess Gerry. You will not regret staying here.

Gerry is a wonderful host, providing a lovely space complete with bed, bathroom, and kitchen facilities. She stocked the kitchen with coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, cereals, bread and typical spreads. She also provides dish washing, clothes washing, and touring suggestions. Very very comfortable stay. Amazing, really!
