Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandRoom could benefit from a heat pump, and a fan for the bathroom. Toaster was broken, reception advised so it could be replaced. TV reception not totally clear. Bed reasonably comfortable but was slightly softer would be better for us. Pillows good.
Good location close to Fitzroy and handy to coastal walkway. Restaurant and food good. Shower good. Room very quiet.

New ZealandI understand it's likely for safety reasons but the porch light being on all night outside our room made the room very light. Yes, we had the blind closed on the small kitchen window but the room was much lighter than we're used to. The bathroom was tired and the tiled ledges on the outside of the bath looked like they needed a good scrub.
Very quiet room on the seaside of the complex - in fact we could hear the sea so quiet were the nights. Lovely. We stayed to attend meetings and a dinner and having everything onsite was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nearby access to the coastal walkway, just a short stroll away.

New ZealandThe rooms are clean and comfortable but the decor is getting a bit tired and some maintenance needs doing. Water leaked from the bathroom above mine into my bath, presumably from their shower or bath. From the state of the ceiling tile this has been going on for a long time. There was no fan in the bathroom.
Good location with great facilities and an excellent restaurant.
