Great location. Accomodating staff. Full breakfast offering. Airport pick up and drop off from international terminal. My room was fantastic though it was on a fourth floor walkup. I was very happy with this choice and will return again.

The only issue, which was not a huge issue, was that I was staying on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. However, because I didn't have many bags, it didn't bother me. Someone with big or heavy luggage would have difficulty getting things up and and down from the 5th floor. Also, there is a construction nearby and at some points in the morning you could hear construction sounds. But nothing too distruptive.

The hotel is situated right at the beginning of the busy Thamel neighborhood which has all the bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. However, it was in a very quiet street. It felt like an oasis in the middle of a party jungle. The room was very comfortable, I reserved a room with a king-sized bed, and it was excellent! Everything was clean and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming! It included breakfast, the restaurant served food throughout the whole day, and you could order drinks to the room 24/7. I really liked the hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Aryatara Hotel Manager Mr. Meghnath ji is a very nice person, he helped us in everything from staying to traveling and while leaving, I express my heartfelt thanks for the respect given to me when I bid farewell. If I get a chance to come to Kathmandu again, then again. I will stay in Aryatara.

We searched so many hotels around Thamel but this hotel make us feel very comfortable. Very delicious food at kitchen. The kitchen staff is very good, I did not realize that I was staying in a hotel or my own home, they took so much care of us, for which I heartily thank all the staff members. Next time whenever I get a chance to visit Kathmandu, I will stay at Hotel Aryatara again.

There's nothing to dislike.

Aryatara is a welcoming hotel with friendly and efficient staff who go out of their way to assist, and keep everything spotlessly clean. My room on this occasion was one of the smaller rooms, and I was offered the option to move which I declined. There are ample outdoor areas to sit and chat or meet other guests. The buffet breakfast changes daily with a variety of Nepali and Western options, and there's a wide-ranging dinner menu from which to choose. Being tucked away at the end of a lane it's mostly quiet, and the proximity to the shopping of Thamel and the Garden of Dreams is a great location.

Unique property with authentic esthetics. Located in the heart of the tourist district of Kathmandu. Easily walkable to many dinning, shopping and tourist attractions . One of the few properties with family suites that comfortably slept 4 people. Great layout with shared balcony spaces. Staff was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure guests needs are met. The restaurant had a varied menu with items to appease any taste. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

It was good to be back! :) Very nice location, on the edge of busy Thamel, just a 3 minute walk. Extremely lovely staff!! The owner Mega came for a chat, Baboe who worked at the restaurant is an excellent restaurant host and the nightshift always there to help!! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable! Shower was strong! And nice hot water.

The manager Mr Mega is the best. He arranged for a car for our entire Nepal trip and throughout the trip made sure we were doing fine. He saw us off with good luck stoles on the day of our departure. The room was good, and the staff were very polite and courteous. They went above and beyond their line of duty to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was very good too.
