One of the showers was not sealed properly on the bottom and water ended up covering most of the floor.

Beautiful views from the terrace….glaciers, water,mountains…what’s not to like! We dealt only with the owner and she was so helpful and accommodating. After we were denied service at a local hotel restaurant because we were not registered guests there, she went above and beyond by calling another restaurant and arranging reservations for us. God blessed us with breathtaking scenery and a delicious meal.

I wish, I knew complete set of toiletries are not included but it makes sense not to include them as this is an apartment style rental.

Everything about this location was magnificent. The house is placed in a fairytale location right in between the fjords and water body. The color of the water body changes through out Norway and the highlight of the stay here is the turquoise color of the water body touching the property. The room itself was spacious & clean. Ground floor has 2 bedrooms and bathroom. First floor is the kitchen and tv area. This place has a washer which we did not experience anywhere else. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the most authentic way to experience Norway. The host were honest, warm, welcoming & always there if you needed anything. It was pouring on the day we went to this location but we felt like we could just sit in our house and experience what we had visited Norway for. The beautiful fjord.

We loved everything.

We loved the location right on the lake and with a beautiful view of the mountains and multiple glaciers. Our 1-bedroom cottage is modern and lovely, with a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, drying rack and all the comforts of home. Free use of stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes. The Segestad trailhead is very close to the cottage and the hike is beautiful! Grocery store a less than 5-minute drive away. Kari-Ann and her father are wonderful hosts, always available and doing everything they could to ensure a great stay. We were even given their homemade apple cider, made from apples organically grown onsite. Delicious! We highly recommend this property.

No tumble dry, no toiletries and only one towel per person, but that seems normal for this area.

The reflection of the white clouds, blue sky and mountains against the lake was breathtaking. Not too far from Loen and Strynd. Our unit didn’t face the water but had a nice deck.

All good! Small things about ventilation due to we had some quite hot weather, but in relation what we achieved all was amazing!

Perfect location and easy access to hiking trails , it was a great feeling to come back home after an active day. Fresh morning and evening swim and nice veranda for cozy evenings.

The location is stunningly beautiful. The house is on the banks of a pristine lake surrounded by mountains with waterfalls. The river gushes by right in front of the property. The hosts are friendly and responsive on phone. It is the ideal location for a serene and peaceful getaway nestled in the lap of nature.

We stayed here recently for two nights as a couple on honeymoon. And Wow, it was amazing. Beautiful cottage, very clean and modern with the most amazing view. Has to be one of the most nicest places I have ever stayed. And the hosts are very nice and helpful.

My stay in a beautiful cabin at Vollsnes Feriehus was nothing short of breath-taking. The views of the mountains and the lake was stunning, there is a fantastic hike a short walk away from the stay. The cabin was fully supplied, clean, aesthetic, and very cute. I also want to say a huge thank you to the owners who were extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and generous during my stay. I couldn't have picked a better stay in my visit to such a beautiful country. I highly recommend Vollsnes Feriehus for a peaceful and very memorable stay in Norway.

We had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave! The setting was absolutely magical - right on the water with a truly incredible view. The apartment was modern, clean and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfy. The four of us took advantage of the kayaks and rowboats available for guests. The hosts were so welcoming and responsive. I highly recommend a stay here and hope to return some day.

TV is a bit small but no big deal as we were there to enjoy the nature.

Great view and location. Great outdoor activities on site (kayak, boating, etc.). Great rooms, kitchen and both room. Host greet us on site. Very clean!
