Hotel is screaming for renovation. I would say 3stars is overrated. We were there after season (possibly the only guests).

Room was dirty under beds, there was gum on the wall and no wifi reception in the room. For some reason, just outside the main entrance it smelled like urine for two mornings.

Building is leaning and is very cold. Bring a jacket for breakfest even in july. Bathroom was not pleasant. It was clean persay but the material and drain not in good condition.

Room was so so small and quite old. Bathroom was far away from being acceptable. Interiors definitely need refurbishment. It would be quite hard to stay there for More than one night

We’ve been moved to the twin hotel in front of lake. Staff was amazing, very kind and available. Lake view from room was great. Great position for the ones visiting Norway’s western fjords.

No lock for the bathroom in our room. It took some time before we had any hot water. The door to our room was crooked, so you had to either slam the door to close it, or lift it up. Either way, the door was a bit noisy. The walls in the shower had exposed wood on the bottom, which could lead to water damage. The building is very old, and the floor in the dining area is sagging to the point where I wasn't even sure if the place was 100 % safe (but it probably is). We were promised free breakfast from 8 - 10, but when we went down to the dining area, there was no breakfast. We waited a bit and tried the reception, but no luck. We left the place without breakfast, but the manager called us to apologize for the lack of breakfast. As it turns out, the person who was in charge of the breakfast was sick and had not let them know. The manager promised to wire back some of the money I paid for the room, but I haven't received anything yet.

I liked the beds and the TV. The staff was very nice and helpful. The view from our room was also pretty nice.

I just needed a bed to sleep in after several hours driving. The hotel i over 100 years old so it is what it is. It close to the road E16 so little bit road noise if you have room facing the road during the night. The bed was little bit uncomfortable for me since I got back problems from before. The bathroom was really small, but no problem showering or going to toilet. For the price I paid it was not bad, so nothing negative to write. Breakfast was minimal but did not expect so much. It is a nice place to stay for one night :)

Odd furniture choices in some rooms. Loads of couches in general rooms. Brand new tv in small room while nothing else has been updated/new, bed side lamp with 20 cm short power cord, because of odd placement.

Easy to find. Enough parking space. Wifi works!

Breakfast was very simple with eggs, some bread and slices of cheese and ham so buy something from the supermarket if you don't like that. They can make scrambled eggs with bacon on request though. Our rooms had not been properly cleaned but we had a nice shared balcony between our two rooms facing the roadside and mountains where we could sit and relax and enjoy the view.

Close to the road and a small supermarket. Good if you need to make a short road stop and not so far from Voss /Vossevangen.

Very good hotel if u're looking something on rush during long and tiring trip thru Norway. Building very old outside and inside, remembers 1917 year, that's why because of intriguing history and great location I gave higher note. Good price equal with quality. Fast free Wi-Fi internet. Small free parking. Very nice and friendly man working there probably alone as a receptionist, cook and room service (wasn't seen with any help during our stay). Breakfast very good. Recommend.

Old sweet wrappers behind the bedside table, cleaning could have been more thorough.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff who were quick to rectify any issues. Although a bit worn, the hotel had character. The room was comfortable, there was an electric heater provided to help fight the cold. Only a short drive (10-15 minutes) from the ski slopes at Myrkdalen.
