Like other reviews, not having the beds made on arrival was disappointing -after a big day of travelling and exploring the town the last thing you want to do is have to go to your apartment and make the bed. The pillows are also incredibly soft, to the point where I had to fold mine in half to be comfortable (you only get one pillow). It should also be noted that while there's a great kitchen in the apartment, there aren’t any basic ingredients like oil, which is common in most apartment hires. While this is very minor, it was disappointing as we had booked this place during a 5 week holiday with the intention to cook dinner but ended up eating out both nights as we didn’t see any point wasting our money on basic ingredients that we wouldn’t finish.

Properly was in a fantastic location - 10/15 min walk to Bryggen and a ~5 minute walk to a grocery store. Place was furnished well and it was very comfortable. Yes there are a lot of stairs but you are made aware of this in advance.

Mirror only available in the bathroom. Kindly provide mirrors in each room please to avoid ‘queueing’ time & to save time - especially for guests traveling with family.

It was carefully decorated, but not extremely clean. The fridge was grimey, there was a bit of mold in the bathroom and the showerhead was broken.

This is a great location. You can walk to Bryggen in 10 minutes and many museums are close by. From the balcony there's a view on a waterfall.

The front main door of the building was very sticky and I had a struggle every time I needed to enter the building. At one point in my stay the door refused to open and I was informed that the code to open the door had been changed without advance warning. This is completely inappropriate. The door to the balcony was also very stiff. The shower, although nice and powerful, ran cool (not cold, but definitely not warm either) after only a few minutes, meaning that I had to wash my hair with lukewarm water. For this price, there should be adequate hot water--if there were more than one person staying, that second person would be pretty upset! The overhead aircon/heater was also noisy.

Amazing location right near everything but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. 2 restaurants practically on the doorstep (no noise). The living room was very comfy with a great sofa, there is a lovely little balcony with a view of the mountain to sit at for breakfast (if its dry). The kitchen had everything you need. The space is very cute and I enjoyed staying.

That the dishwasher had not been emptied from previous guests so we did not know if dishes were clean and the fact that we had to make our beds upon arrival.

Lots of stairs which we were aware of but got tough with a toddler and suitcases.

The location was great with easy access to public transport and a short walk to the port/Bryggen area. Supermarket was just around the corner so that was great. Fully equipped kitchen except it could use a baking sheet.

Everything was very good, but if i had to find an improvement point, i didn't like that beds were not made, and you had to put the bedsheets on by yourself. Also, when you leave, they expect you to remove am the bed linen too. Apart from that, the apartment was amazing.

Very good location. Comfortable appartement, in particular the bed. Was furnished with everything you might need during your stay in Bergen. Definitely recommend staying here.

Instructions for washing machine. Full dishwasher which we had to unpack ..and make beds ( linen was left and this was outlined in booking notes). One bottle of shower gel for a few days stay for two people.

Walking up the stairs with suitcases. Very small second bedroom and not enough fresh air but it seems that it is the same in all units or hotel rooms that we have stayed in.

There were some maintenance issues such as a faulty light, toilet flush buttons, and a damaged light shade, but nothing dramatic. More annoying was the small bedroom with a double bed sqeezed in and the lack of a wardrobe or even a place for the suitcase - just the floor. Also, there toaster shown in the listing was not there and the owner did not respond to my question about it.

The floor heating was nice and the living space was good.

Having to make and unmake beds. Not having simple supplies like shampoo, or oil, pepper, sugar, coffee, coffee machine filter papers as we booked based on that expectation. Stairs are quite steep.

Nice centrally located apartment, short walk to station, port, old town and funicular, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Although mentioned in other reviews, the only cooking supplies are those left by other travellers but detergent was supplied for both dish and clothes washers. Nice little balcony, place was quiet overnight and clean.

A dryer would have been awesome. We could not find a drying rack which could have helped. Sour smell coming from the washing machine No parking was difficult as we did have a car while in Bergen.
