We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsIt needs a complete renovation. Everywhere you looked it was broken. Curtains are torn, floor was worn, plugs were loose etc. In short, worn out. I wondered if it was still fireproof.
The location, historic building. Free parking. The restaurant was good.

AustraliaBathroom is addition to original room - a cubicle. Sits 20 cm approx higher. Big problem if you use it during the night when your still half asleep - fall hazard to enter and exit. Shower was originally a curtain. Now a perspex enclosure which restricts the space inside. Can't bend over if you drop the soap and can be a tight fit. No elevator for not so mobile people to access up floors. Internet dropped in and out during use. Parking behind hotel officially only 2 hrs but does not seem to be policed (may be in summer?).
Breakfast was great all you can eat. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room a good size and clean. Located in centre of village and well sign posted on way in.

United States of AmericaThe accommodation was sufficient although rooms were small. The windows would not open so it got quite stuffy. Bathrooms were very dated, but clean. Only concern was what appeared to be mold on the ceiling. In my opinion, because of the bath fixtures age and appearance i would not consider this a 3 star.
Comfy and clean, great location to explore appingedam and canal boat tour. The hotel is situated above a very large chinese restaurant. At the time of our stay it was not operating, but if it was busy it might impact travelers. I liked the sitting area upstairs with full coffee service available any time. Large parking area available at no charge made it very easy for us.

MaltaThe building is old, very basic. No lift and very steep steps to the second floor. No tea or coffee in the room, but available on the first floor landing. Very expensive for such an old and basic room.
The hotel is very centrally located, couldn’t be better. Was quite clean.
