The hotel probably used to be amazing. Nowadays however everything inside is super old and fairly dirty. Carpets outside the rooms are just gross. Shower curtain is slightly modly. Ventilation in the shower doesn't work. The room is super cold, that's why there is no mini bar there, probably. Curtains are quite dirty as well. Tv worked nicely, however the remote is falling apart, and batteries need to be changed. There is dust in some places in the room. The bed itself and the sheets were clean, that was great. We had a big, very warm blanket there (one for double bed! but i think it's typical dutch thing), so temperature in the room was not an issue. Mattress was really soft aka very uncomfortable but hah, thats a hotel style. Reception staff was wonderful, very nice and helpful. This made our stay positive.

It was the first hotel with a pool that did not provide towels in the pool entrance. claustrophobic changing rooms and no shampoo in the shower. Unable to use the charging station with a regular credit card, or provided free by the hotel

Lack of AC during summer and lack of a little fridge/kettle. The furniture and carpets would need an upgrade.

We enjoyed the location and the surroundings that give you some time of relaxing. The staff was responsive and helpful and the room was clean. Generally we liked it.

The bed is very small and uncomfortable, not good to sleep on.

We've stayed here before and got pretty much what we expected. What we like about the hotel is the value for money, the good breakfast, the easy parking and the fact that it's good for walking around the area. The room and bathroom are not big, but you can sleep, and after all that is the most important thing. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, it takes about 45-60 minutes on foot to get to the city. However, there is bus service, the bus stop is close to the accommodation. Breakfast is delicious and the view is very good while having breakfast :-)

Staff was very inflexible and not very pleasant. They told me twice the hotel was full when it was not, I could see on Booking there were available rooms. First they refused to change my room to a higher floor, and then to extend my stay by a night- I did the extension through Booking since reception would not do it, and it worked fine. The place is rather run down, especially the old carpet going down to -1 and windows, and the room on -1 was rather dark. They may be gradually renovating as the bathroom looked recent. The single room was small and the bed very soft, but all in all it suited my purpose.

Green and quiet surroundings, nice buffet breakfast, terrace with a nice view. I did not check out the pool.

Not really a dislike but the room was showing its age and would benefit from refurbishing. Carpet was a bit worn and shower cubicle could be renewed. Not sufficient to dissuade one from returning again.

A quiet location with plenty of parking and clear signage from the main road. Guests are made welcome with helpful staff. The bed was extremely comfortable (memory foam type soft mattress)

I booked a small room which us fine, but it was quite dated and generally in need of a refresh. That said everything worked and I actually had a really good nights sleep

There was building works going this time we stayed here. We weren't informed about this beforehand. The first morning rudely awakened by builders throwing things in a skip right outside our window. Complained at reception and asked for a different room at the opposite side of the hall, but no luck with reception. Asked if they could do something else instead, but no luck either. A pity, since it's not our first time staying at this hotel. You would think returning guests would be given some kindness or some discount.

Breakfast is always good at this hotel. Comfortable beds. Beautiful location.

We were put in a room almost the furthest you could be from reception and it was a little puzzling to try and find it at first.

Location was in a very picturesque area in nature. Room was very quiet and plenty of free parking. Very nice area to walk or cycle around.

A bit dated, nineties style and a bit worn out. Not too bad, but it needs an update.

Beautiful surroundings in the east of the Netherlands, close to the German border. Good parking facilities. Roomy room, all facilities needed, roomy bathroom. Comfortable bed. Room is all clean and comfortable. Nice staff, hospitable, professional. Good housewine, also sold online.

Dated facilities and a lack of tea/coffee/water in the room. No availability for dining on the first evening (without any prior advice to book pre-arrival). A dated games room with defective equipment for guest use. No doors separating rooms in the family suite. No locks on either bathroom or w/c door. Dirty (suspicious!) marks in the room on the floors and walls.

Attentive staff and a good menu in the bar/restaurant. Comfortable bed and pillows.
