Great position and easy to find. Good directions from host. Comfortable bed. Shower was a little difficult with water on the floor.

It's not what we didn't like, but what renters should be aware of. This unit is on the fourth floor and the stairs are quite steep and tight. The location is amazing, but it's also tucked away so easy to pass it by.

This room is in an open, comfortable, and has a great view of the canals. The bed and bathrooms are larger than we see in other European hotel rooms. Most especially the host, Focco, is a true gem. His passion for the house and for Amsterdam are unmatched.

The basement apartment we stayed in is the smallest and a bit cramped for a family of four but fine in all other regards.

Good location, central, easy walking distance of museums and parks and to trams for public transport. Lovely modernised house with character and history. Very friendly and accommodating host, he even offered me his office to take an important call.

I don't feel it was worth €400 per night, especially as the bathtub was dirty when we first arrived. Also, the construction noise in the mornings wasn't appreciated.

Very beautiful, spacious room overlooking a canal in a quieter part of Amsterdam.

Dutch stairs are a challenge for a lot of us, but that isn’t a specific criticism of Amstel Corner. Just be prepared for lengthy, curving stairs. If you have mobility issues, this might be a challenge.

True historic Amsterdam property, right at the southern corner of the city center - close enough for convenience, far enough to get away from the crowds. The Dream Room has a great balcony overlooking the quiet inner courtyard. Very comfortable bed, and small kitchen area - perfect for a solo traveler. Amstel Corner Hotel is really more of a pension situation. The owner is lovely and helpful, but this is best suited for independent travelers who need a safe, reliable place to stay while exploring.

Stairs to upper floors were very steep, more so than it appeared in photos. But the lower level room worked well for my elderly relatives.

In a great location, close to everything. Spacious compared to most places we’ve seen, with everything we needed. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

It was a bit farther from centrum than we would have like but this was out inexperience with the city. Good location from which to focus on the museum district or botanical gardens and zoo.

Bed is two twin mattresses held together by a sheet. Left a difficult sleeping position. Stairs are steep, but expected. Didn't bother us being in young 20s. Minor inconveniences compared to the rest of the stay.

The property was very nice and a perfect stay for our time in Amsterdam. Location is fantastic on the river and very cute room with nice facilities. Wonderful, kind, and helpful host who helped us get luggage up the narrow stairs and allowed us to store it, and even brought up a vase for some flowers on our arrival. Great stay at this property and would recommend to anyone.

The staircase is the traditional type, terrible

The place is located in a privileged location, it is within walking distance of the most important points of interest. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and with personality. In addition, the house has a history that the owner shares with every guest in a book he offers for free. In a few words, this is an excellent accommodation option in Amsterdam

Very cozy. We loved the location. It was great to be close to the tram stop and there is a great pub around the corner that served breakfast. We were in very short walking distance from an open air market with great food and local vendors. The host was kind, fun, personable. He was very welcoming but also didn't hover. He made sure we were comfortable. The balcony on our room was great. We also loved how the cabinet opened up to a convenient kitchenette. Yes, the water floods a bit, but who cares, the water was hot and the water pressure was great which we loved after a long day of walking around the city in cold. Stairs are step and no elevator, because it's an awesome old building. Great experience.

There was nothing that we didn’t like within the two rooms that we had. I only have some advice that If you put in a nice marble rail on the main floor room on the stairs this would encourage people with disabilities to feel safer up and down the stairs.

Fokko was a fantastic host. I asked if he could help with something on arrival for my fiancé’s 30th. We arrived and he had given her a cake and birthday card, he done this free of charge. He also allowed us a late check out, which was so kind. The location is great. Honeymoon sweet was lovely and the balcony was nice. Our group had the main floor room which they enjoyed also. We all had a great sleep bed was very comfortable and the bath is very spacious. Would recommend this property.
