Kaag Island has a village on it (Kaag), which although having an enormous ship yard, is a quiet traditional village with thatched cottages, a hotel, and bar/restaurants looking over the lake. It is the centre for many water sports.
The hotel is quiet, unusual, and well priced. The host is welcoming and helpful.”
