Overall cleanliness is good, but rooms do need a little bit of care, as they are pretty old. Toilet bowls also could use the replacements

Location is outside of Windhoek, so it is in peaceful area with a beautiful view over the town. Staff were quite helpful, food was great, and the pool is great place to unwind. Would recommend to anyone for their first or last day(s) in Namibia

The hot water ran out very quickly. We had a cold shower in the morning, which is not ideal in Khomas in the winter

The rooms are basic but comfortable. What stood out was the beautiful surroundings and how friendly and helpful the staff were. The food was also absolutely devine. We were traveling with our busy body 3 year old, and the staff were so tolerable with him, entertaining him and keeping him busy while we were having dinner.

Nothing I didn’t like

I love River Crossing, this was my third time staying and will return again. Parking is easy, the staff are lovely, the food is great and my room was quiet and relaxing with long reaching views out towards Windhoek. The bar balcony is a great place to watch the setting sun over a bottle of Savanna Dry 😊

A bit difficult to find and reach the hotel due to the road construction. But after it is completed, the road to the hotel will also be outstanding.

Very friendly, welcoming and assisting staff, nice interior and exterior, calm place, good breakfast. The rooms was located in a separate little house with a private terrace which made the stay very cozy.

We were travelling with guests who had limited mobility and had phoned to ask about stairs, which we were assured were minimal. However there are 6/7 steps into the main building with no handrail (there is ample room to put in a ramp, which would be very beneficial). The rooms each have a few steps to get into them and are located some distance from the main building and the access is quite challenging in places with uneven paths and limited lighting at night.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Windhoek and has amazing views. The staff were very friendly and the food was of a very high standard. The hotel was good value for money and had two lovely pools. It is great for younger or more mobile guests and the staff did assist us by changing one room, which was just too far away from the main building, which was a great help. The laundry service was the best value for money of all the hotels we stayed in.

The hotel didnt have a safe in the room which is a minimum requirement for a "4 Star " , it also lacks the basic security measures such as CCTV cameras , alarms ,fences , we had an incident in one of our nights hence why i am pointing fingers at the security features of the lodge(the Owner should do more ), rather than that , the positives surpassed the negatives

the Staff and the views were the highlight of the trip(especially the duty manage) , they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. the food was really good, the breakfast and dinner . and since it was winter , they had a free flowing Coffee

The aircon and the bar fridge in the room was loud and disrupted our sleep.

Stunning view with the most incredible sunset! The food was delicious and the wine list had a good selection. Staff was friendly and made sure to give us an exceptional experience. Rooms had a beautiful view of the mountains making it an extra romantic experience.
