Decent hostel close to the center and the waterfront. Clean, and beds are very comfortable for that price. Staff is helpful – if they are not there, they will respond to whatsapp. The “common area” is nice, but not quite as big as it looks (to me, at least) on the photos.

A little table and a chair in the kitchen + a side table in the bathroom on the 1st floor would make it perfect!

The owner is incredibly kind and caring. They provide bed sheets, towel and a blanket. You also get coffee/tea, breakfast (bread, butter, jam) and drinking water. Bedrooms have aircon. There are free wifi and shared bathrooms. You can self-check in, just text the owner with your estimate arrival time. The location is perfect for visiting the city. There is a 7-11 just on the opposite side of the road and a good restaurant that serves local food (Borneo Delights) a few minutes away.

It's not your place if you are a light sleeper. Plenty of noise from the street, noisy AC, noisy old bed bunks ..etc

I think you get what you paid for, can't ask for much more at that price. Breakfast included is a plus.

The beds were clean but they are a bit old, but, the bad makes a lot of sounds when you want to turn in the bed.

Lovely staff, the breakfast was fine and it’s a wonderful location. Enough options for restaurants in the neighborhood and excursions.

The bed frames are too noisy, squeaking whenever someone moves on their bed. Next to a road and you can hear the traffic clearly, esp the motorcycles. Not for light sleepers.

Cheap and excellent value for the price. Good location within walking distance to the Kuching Waterfront.

The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city and access key attractions. It was also conveniently close to various restaurants and eateries. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Staff are fabulous, really helpful & super polite. Location great. Beds comfy, although sheets stay put. Showers good, and hot if wanted. Breakfast basic but OK. place is kept clean. Really good place to stay.

For us it was just far too noisy so difficult to sleep - the hostel itself is quiet but it's right on a roundabout and traffic is very loud, plus on the weekends there are bars opposite pumping out music until around 3am. The door of the room opens on to a corridor that is open to the street (no outer wall) hence the noise! There's also very little communal space to hang out (just a couple of seats in reception). Our room was OK but really needed a repaint and would have been much nicer with a bit of the quirkiness from the common areas - ie paintings on the wall etc instead of just a blank space with no windows!

Staff were lovely whenever we came across them. The location is central and the showers downstairs are really good. WiFi worked well throughout our stay as did the Aircon. Good value for the central location.

Only thing what was missing was a real common area for meeting up other travelers.

It was a nice little hostel for backpackers. I stayed in multiple rooms during traveling back and forth. The women in charge is super lovely and very helpful. For the very low price everything was nearly perfect.

Somehow the bed is so comfortable I had a good night sleep. Very worth your money if you just want a place to sleep. Small room but good enough 👍 Staff also give great service and great vibes.

It would somehow be nice to have a reading light and power outlet next to the bed.

KD is an excellent host and such a kind person who helps you with every question you have. The place is filled with love and positivity. The dorm was simple but clean and comfy bed :) Love that free filtered water to refill your drinking bottle! Thanks for everything!

- the room wall is thick so I can hear people talking; better to prepare earplugs if you are a light sleeper

- The location is great. 10 mins walk to the waterfront; 10 mins walk to another side's medium-sized mall; several restaurants nearby - haven't tried it but there is some simple free breakfast (toast and butter) - there is a hair dryer that can be borrowed

Note that the private rooms are rather small and the common room is more of a lobby than a living room, but fine for a short stay!

Our room had no window. And we did not meet anyone of the staff during our stay, it was self check in and check out.

Good bed and good airconditioning. Nice shower. Good information about what to do in and around Kuching.
