    Absolutely nothing everything was perfect!!!

Stunningly beautiful architecture with boho vibes, every little detail has been perfectly thought of to capture your heart with having the pleasure to experience a stay in the Myan jungle. Pools are in great areas to capture the sun and local wildlife. The added private pool outside our nest was the icing on the cake. Inside the nest is so spacious with an amazing clay bath, the bed was super comfortable, mini fridge had every drink you could want, hammock outside completed the best RnR vibes this place had to offer! It truly does give ZEN vibes!!!

One noticeable shortcoming in the bathroom was the lack of some basic accessories. There were no cotton buds, glasses or other small toiletries, which I would have expected at a hotel of this class. Very little was also provided to store your clothes. Adding these small but important accessories would significantly enhance the overall experience. :)

Beautiful accommodations, great service, and an ideal location make it a standout choice for anyone looking to experience the best of Tulum. The Yellow Nest is known for their 'floating breakfast' and it is indeed a fun experience! :) I highly recommend The Yellow Nest to anyone seeking a memorable and enchanting stay!

The long bumpy road leading to the hotel. A minor detail was the absence of airco in the rooms. They solved it with fans wich was nice, but is was still very hot…

The pool was really nice and relaxing. We loved to chill there. :)

    nothing!

Look no further. This hotel is the closest thing to paradise you will ever experience. The service is unbeatable; even in palaces, I don't think you could find such great staff. A very special thanks to Samuel, who made our stay even more unforgettable. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Mayan sauna with Luis. It was an incredible experience! The location is beautiful, though you have to earn it since it is 15 minutes from the road on bumpy dirt paths. However, with a bit of careful driving, any normal car can handle it. The rooms are nice, and there is a restaurant on site. The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. If I had to take three days off from the world, I would definitely go back there without hesitation. Thank you again to Samuel and the entire team for the amazing stay we had.

The road to get there is tough (it took us roughly 30mins to Tulum) so better have a good car. They also offer taxi services but they are very expensive. Music was a bit annoying - would have preferred something more relaxing or no music at all. Also a word of caution for people who don't like insects - this is in the jungle so there are mosquitos and we even found a scorpion in our room.

Nice hotel tucked away in the jungle. Staff is super friendly. There are a few included activities e.g. Mexican ritual in the Temazcal (something like a sauna), yoga and you can bike to the nearest cenote. Food here is good (we didn't have the breakfast though because we wanted to leave early to go to Coba) and we loved the agua frescas here!

The road from the main road to the property is ROUGH. Needs to be smoothed or paved so as not to damage vehicle. Also hard to right bikes on the road.

Amazing staff. They were so professional and friendly. The little rooms/huts were great. Clean and well decorated. The cenote water pool was beautiful. The themed decor around the hotel was thoughtful (tree signs, neat, etc.).

Minibar in the room would be helpful.

From the warm welcoming and the ice cold welcome drink, you already know you have arrived in total paradise. The hotel is really beautiful, but what stands out the most is the staff. They truly go above and beyond and have an excellent attitude all day long. The food is amazing too, we had many delicious meals there, as well as cocktails. Perfect location for visiting local cenotes and you can even use the bicycles from the hotel. The yoga was relaxing and the temezcal experience was really unique and special.

The access is hard if you don´t have your own car. We had so it was ok. There are 2 pools and we only had access to one of them. I think that guest should have access to both, specially because the sun hits better on the one that has an extra cost.

We loved the location, the yoga classes, the breakfast was delicious and the space is dreaming in general. It´s super close to Cenote dos Ojos. Beautiful. The Staff was amazing!!!

In some ways the disadvantage about the property is also it’s best in that it is at the end of an unmade road in the middle of the jungle. This has its own challenge to navigate but ensures the property is quiet - which we love. When the night falls and all the music is turned off you are alone with the sounds of the jungle - and a little low rumble of the night generator- but it feels special.

We loved the way the property has been designed. The Nest Room is compact with no room for storage, bedside tables with lamps, coffee/tea making facilities etc. However, the bed was comfortable. The shower good with lots of hot water. We were very kindly given an upgrade to a villa for our last night which was lovely. In the village there was lots more room inside and out, our own little plunge pool but in was closer to the big pool, so loud music and people were the Nest was more peaceful. The best part of the stay was the staff. In particular Sam who could not have done more to make us feel special and cared for. Louis Miguel also deserves a mention for his attention to care.

The property was super beautiful, very peaceful, calm, very clean, big and spacious and well maintained 🩷 We loved the swimming pool area - surrounded by trees, with comfortable seats and calm vibes. The service was just AMAZING 🥰 Stuff was very polite, friendly, fast and very professional. They took care of anything we needed. Rooms were clean, spacious and had gorgeous design. Food in the restaurant was just INCREDIBLE 😍 One of THE BEST meals I’ve ever had in Mexico. Super delicious. The location of this hotel is PERFECT. Deep in the jungle and surrounded by cenotes. This is definitely a MUST STAY hotel

Summary: Phenomenal staff, gorgeous room and pool, super clean, some of the best food I've ever had!
    • Leisure trip
    • Group
    • Villa with Private Pool
    • Stayed 5 nights

(Neutral) Location: You are 20-45 minutes away from Tulum center/resort beach day clubs. Meaning you need a taxi everywhere you go. Budget for that! Staff sets up all the rides but prices vary depending on day and distance. I wanted to stay somewhere more quiet and remote, and it was the same cost to stay in a resort in Tulum central and taxi less because it's so much pricier for rooms downtown (and you still need to taxi downtown). (Con) Massage: I had the deep tissue massage with Gaby. She was lovely and knew what she was doing, but the music was too loud and her phone kept going off during service. However, my friend had a different experience and loved the massage. So I think it was just not the right fit for me. (Con) AC: It is hot in Tulum and AC runs in the villas only from 7pm - 7am. So no AC during the day. The room stays relatively cool and it

(Pro) Staff: Everyone is incredibly professional, kind, and lovely. I have never stayed at a hotel where I felt so secure and taken care of. Even the driver (Carlos) that picked us up from Cancun airport to Yellow Nest was amazing! Shoutout to Javier, Yaser, and Luis as well! (Pro) Food: Every single food and drink item was delicious. Highlights are the mango smoothie, national ribeye, salmon sashimi. But literally everything was delicious and fairly priced. (Pro) Property/Cleanliness: The room and pools are so gorgeous. It is well maintained and staff clean your room every day! If you get a villa (which is pricier), you get a personal pool! (Pro) Temazcal: Luis Miguel runs the sauna and it was so healing and beautiful. Happens twice a day and I would've paid extra for this but its free! (Pro) Cenotes: You are walking distance from the most beautiful cenotes in the world. Can't beat that.

Considering the price, the room lacks amenities and the breakfast is very light: extremely small portions and few options. Extremely far from downtown which results in extra costs to rent a car or take a cab

Great to disconnect and spend some time in nature. Great staff, helpful and reactive !

Temaazkal was a bit short :)

Everything was perfect! Such a lovely stay, the stuff was so sweet and accommodating, very responsive through WhatsApp , making our experience go smooth.😍 Ac in the villas from 7pm, but before didn’t feel hot at all, there is a huge fan as well. they have pure cenote water in their pools, which I was happy about as my skin doesn’t like chlorine. Fish tacos are one of the best I’ve tried 🤤 the place is located in the middle of many beautiful cenotes, if you wake up and go before the groups , you can have them just for yourselves.😍 Thank you , Yellow nest.
