The property is beautifully laid out and the everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. It is close to the beach and close enough to town to have everything on hand but not hear the noise. It’s also a fantastic bonus to have the Mawimbi beach club passes. We loved every minute of our stay!

I didn’t realize they didn’t have a pool when I booked but it doesn’t really matter because they’re very close to the beach. The exceptional service makes up for it ☺️

The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly, which was very refreshing after a few scamming incidents experienced getting out to Holbox. Breakfast was exceptional. Cold water available all over the property which is also hard to find in Holbox. Right across from the beach and only a short walk from downtown. Everything smelled amazing on this property. It was so peaceful. They had very high quality soaps for use in the shower which was a huge convenience because we ran out of things like that toward the end.

The patio area wasn’t as private as the pictures online suggest. The curtains were very thin so let a lot of light in when the sun came up. The breakfast wasn’t as good as the reviews suggested, in our opinion!

The room was large and we loved the boho aesthetic. The bed was HUGE and really comfortable. The cleaning staff were great. They left it spotless every day.

Sink was a little impractical and didn’t drain immediately. And light fixtures in bedroom were spiky wood and hung too low- resulting in us tall guys bumping into them regularly

The rustic authentic aesthetic was very appealing. Location was great and quiet yet easy to get to anywhere from. The reception were always very helpful in booking tours for us 😊

Absolutely beautiful hotel just a short walk from the beach. The breakfast was excellent and the access to the Mawimbi beach club was fantastic as it was the best beach I saw and the food and staff were incredible.

Beautiful, classy decor. The bed was so big and comfortable and the pillows were memory foam. We slept so well here. Beautiful plants everywhere, felt so clean and our bedroom was spotlessly cleaned every day. We had a lovely little balcony to use in the evenings. Breakfast was so varied and so delicious especially the fruit juice and the açai bowl. The toiletries in the room were locally produced and smelled amazing.

Nothing, the stay was amazing.

We had an amazing stay at the El Corazón boutique hotel! The staff was always extremely welcoming and friendly and helped us with every question, problem or activity we wanted to book. The rooms are very stylish, super comfortable and clean. The whole hotel has very beautiful interior and we enjoyed using the outdoor space to hang out as well. We tried almost all of the breakfast options which were very delicious - also great coffee and fresh juices! The hotel is second row to the beach, which was no problem at all because it is only a two minute walk and there is a cooperation with one of the beach clubs, so we were able to get day beds at the beach for free every day. I can highly recommend a stay here & would come back every time when in Holbox!

The hotel is a luscious jungle oasis in Holbox! It is immaculate, the breakfasts are fantastic and the staff are all so lovely. One of our favorite aspects were the comfortable beds. I'm 6 months pregnant and slept the best I have in months!!! The hotel staff were so cute and put balloons in our room after they learned we were celebrating our babymoon. It was very rainy on the island when we went but because of how fantastic Hotel Corazon was, it did not ruin our time whatsoever. We would love to go back soon!

We absolutely loved our 5-night stay at El Corazón. The price per night was a little higher than what we tend to look for, but we were so happy that we went for it as it was worth every peso. The rooms are very comfortable, the location is quiet but not far from neither centre nor beach, the breakfast by far the best we have had in our trip and the access to the connected beach club is a lovely bonus. We had beautiful sunny weather the first part of the stay and wet conditions (as it can happen in Holbox) the last part, which made us thankful to have such a nice hotel to be in. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others or to choose it again next time we are in Isla Holbox. All the best to everyone at El Corazón.

We weren't too keen on the Mawimbi beach club. There was a lack of service there, so instead, we went to another beach club each day.

Such a friendly welcome from the reception staff who were really helpful in providing advice and recommendations for things to do locally.. all the staff were absolutely lovely, particularly Francesco, who served us each day at breakfast. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were given a lovely little gift in our room. The property was just far enough from town to avoid the noise and wonderfully peaceful whilst still being close to the action. The breakfast each day was superb.

This hotel is simply amazing ! Zen clean luxurious vibes ! Amazing breakfast amazing service! They even help you plan your stay in holbox ! Best hotel i have ever been too It s the top of the top and fabio is exceptional !! He s very helpful and kind... honest ! Tells u exactly which tours to take and what to do . He even prepared for us lunch boxes because we were leaving early before breakfast! Very glad i stayed at el corazon! It was my favorite stay in mexico

Everything - this property is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at . The cleanliness is exquisite , the owners pay special attention to catering to all your requirements when you’re in holbox. I asked them to do up my room as it was my 1st wedding anniversary and they did such a great job decorating the room and also arranging a complementary bottle of Prosecco !

Missing more options for a “chilling” zone/patio - not a lot of space to relax outside, while the green area outside is very nice, could be great to have some more places to sit there (or even a small pool area)
