Beautiful hotel, we regret to only stayed one night, totally recommended for a longer stay. Fantastic food at the restaurant, gorgeous views of the lagoon. The interior design and decor were great.

We were enthralled by Hotel Rancho Encantado from the moment we set foot on the property. It was so lovely and peaceful, the lagoon is just heaven and the food at the restaurant was as good as they all say it is!!

they overdo a bit with floor cleaning. The floor in the room was a bit oily due to the cleaning (no idea what they but)

They greet you, they take you to your room and show you the facilities and it is very clean, quite. They have kayaks and paddle boards you can use. The food is delicious

not really about the property itself but bring mosquitos repellent !

everything is so beautiful, the location being on the water and with multiple private docks made it so easy for us to get in the water. the free kayaks and paddle boards are super useful if you’re into taking a tour of the Bacalar lagoon on your own. the sunrise is INSANE. the best part of this was the staff ! Carolina and Josmar tended to every need we had ! the restaurant people and especially joselito were really nice ! you HAVE to try the octopus tacos and the tuna one ! also get a massage, it’s so relaxing with the location they do it at, right by the water ! I got the relaxing one and my friend got the hot stones one !

it will be appreciate having more information of taking care of the estromatolitos. It is easy to step on them without knowing. Also, the hotel should promote to use ecologic sunscreen

Due to the nature of the climate, rooms smell a bit damp.

Beautiful little oasis to unwind and relax in the middle of the jungle. Free kayaks and huge rooms that were always kept exceptionally clean!

Breakfast is nice but rather basic with smaller portions.

The location and view are absolutely amazing. Staff is very friendly. Use of kayaks and paddle boards whenever you like. Rooms are amazing.

Awesome service! Beautiful location and well maintained installations. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious food. As a women solo traveler I appreciate the security they have at the entrance, they check in every car coming in and out and check their guest list, very efficient. You can book your tours and airport transportation with zero hassle. Also you can use the kayaks and paddle boards at no extra cost, hammocks everywhere so you can choose the perfect spot for relaxing. The spa has an amazing service as well! Definitely a place to come back and recommend. :)
