The only thing I can say negative about it was that when I arrived the pool was closed for cleaning and remained so for a few days, so I didn’t really get to enjoy it, but this was not a big deal at all as I’d rather be at the beach anyway.

Free breakfast every morning was amazing- Juan and Victoria always took great care of me! The cabin was beautiful, clean, had great AC, location was great- right in the middle of everything, so I could walk or bike without having to taxi everywhere. I like that they had free yoga every weekday morning, as well as bike rentals at the property. Oh and both restaurants were SO GOOD. It rained multiple days when I was there and I was thankful I didn’t have to venture far to get the best food.

Restaurants closed at 5pm so getting dinner was difficult. They should atleast have a small kitchen for guests to cook basic stuff. Had to request for more water

Location top notch and thanks for the ocean view upgrade!!

As summer is the sea weed season, if the hotel can work out a plan to clean up the beach, that would be perfect. The picturesque Caribbean Sea did not live up to expectations. The breakfast was tiny and if they allow some add ons that would be great. Service wise, generally good. The housekeeping did a super fantastic job as I was there to witness how meticulous she was in ensuring the room was properly cleaned up!

The location is within the national park. Hence, it is pretty quiet and pristine without the general public crowd.

It’s not related to the property, but since the hotel is in the protected area of Tulum, if you want to enter before 5pm you have to pay a small fee per person everyday even if you have a reservation in the hotel.

Everything! This place is an authentic gem inside the park of Tulum. The bungalows are in the nature with the sound of the ocean 24/7 Breakfast is so nice and in front of the ocean. The staff is always available and kind. Amazing yoga classes are available in the morning for the perfect start of the day. Since the hotel is in the protected area you will feel super safe all the time.

the pool needs upgrading, it's old and rundown.

exceptional location, the staff upgraded the room because of a misunderstanding in the booking process via Booking. Juan and Luis super friendly, very nice breakfast.

Nothing I can think of, a perfect stay. One thing to be mindful of is - since the hotel is a national park, you can not bring in plastic bottles with water in, and it’s hard to buy bottled water in a park. Bring in reusable water bottles.

One of the best views we have ever woken up to. The hotel is a true paradise, secluded, beautiful, tasteful and quiet.

    Nothing.

This was perfection. The room (beach house) had an amazing view over the ocean and tropical plants. Right from the terrace you walk straight onto the beach and into the ocean. Room was beautiful. Shower with a view over the ocean. Plunge pool. Hammock. The on site restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast (included) and lunch there. In 15 minutes you can walk along the sea to the ruins of Tulum. This hotel is so relaxed, quiet and beautiful. Everyone working there was very friendly. We didn’t want to leave.

Exceeded our expectations in every way

I can only name very minor negatives, the biggest being the fact that we only got 1 liter of drinking water every day for the 2 of us, which doesn't get you too far when it's 35 degrees all day. Once that was gone we had to keep buying 3 dl water battles for 5 USD each. The beach was sometimes quite full of seaweed, but that's nothing the hotel could help, and it didn't take away fro the experience at all.

Pocna Tulum exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff was the nicest possible, the room was sparkling clean, spacious, bright. The atmosphere in the whole place is second to none. Food was amazing (specially the Mexican one!). Some comments mentioned that you can't buy food after 5pm - this is completely false. Pocna has 2 restaurants and the Asian one is open until 10pm (with one of the best Ramens we ever had!). The morning sunrise Yoga sessions were just a cherry on the top of the cake!

Everything was perfect, but i have to mention that the location is not a walking distance to the zona hotelera and the taxis are quite expensive. Also, you have to pay every time when you enter the national park even if you are a guest of the hotel. Hotel could offer a transfer to the city for an extra cost that would be very convenient. Also, you cannot bring plastic water bottles into the national park and there is nowhere to buy it and hotel offers only one refill a day. Internet connection was bad, it barely worked in the room, only in reception and restaurant it was good.

If you are looking for a calm place to stay it is an amazing location, not too many people and the rooms have separate entrances so you rarely bump to anyone. Very cozy atmosphere and beautiful sunrises, loved the Ramon restaurant and beach club and all the staff there, especially Juan and Giulliermo. Thank you for your service. Breakfast was delicious, also food on the menu is really good. Room was cleaned every day and was very clean and spacious. Also, guy at the reception was always very helpful, friendly and kind. Hotel is close to playa paraiso where you can find more restaurants if wanted. We felt safe during all our stay.

    Everything was great

We had an amazing stay at Poc Na and extended our stay for one more night. Would have loved to stay even longer if we had the time. Really recommend booking the Maya suite at the beach. The view was fabulous. The location in the National Park and right at the beach is fantastic to relax, peaceful and quiet at night and away from the hussle and buzzle of Tulum. The beach and beach club are beautiful, good breakfast and you can easily reach the Tulum ruins after a dreamy beach walk. Would definitely come back to this place.
