Although it was nice to be away from the city center, you need a car or motor bike to get to the hotel. The dust road was a special experience.

We had a really good time in the Naajal Hotel. It is more a house with appartements, but with a lot of space. It was great to have a spacious room, a small kitchen, and a large fridge. We felt very welcome. It was great to be a little bit out of the city and enjoy quiet nights "in the jungle".

We were expecting a fully stocked kitchen and the pans that were there were , unusable. The road was very bad to drive a rental down ( We ended up walking many places close by instead, which turned out to be nice) After having been there if I were to stay again, it would have to be on the other side of the building, and not over the parking lot.

We liked that it was quiet.

Bad roads leading to the place, but you can still make it with a car, just go slowly. You can't really go walking around, you need to drive. Maybe it would be nice to have it a little bit better maintained and attention to small details. The kitchen and toilet taps were rusty, like oxidated. Same with the taps by the swimming pool on the rooftop.

Nice place The apartment was comfortable, spacious and modern The rooftop with the 2 small swimming pool was very nice Very close to an area with restaurants and bars Good space for parking the car

The location is really only accessible by car and the roads were terrible, really a challenge getting there. It is also NOT a hotel - it's airbnb style with other guests staying. In our case, there were some people next door having a screaming match and hitting things all night and with no reception, this was quite scary and uncomfortable for us.

Really large room and wonderful rooftop pool

Do pick up drinking water before arriving and yes it is a distance from town with bumpy roads so be prepared.

Beautiful jungle view from our second floor apartment and seeing birds in the trees was a bonus. Yes there is construction around but the noise during the day was not as bad as we had expected. Cooling off in the pools and relaxing on the rooftop was wonderful. The kitchen has basic utensils etc. but cooking was fine and enjoying our meals on our balcony was great! The A/C worked well but with the patio door and window allowing the breeze to blow through the apartment we didn’t use it often. Wifi was the best we have had here in Mexico. The apartment is spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. Lucas, the manager at the time, was friendly and always available to answer questions and give advice. Made for a lovely 2 week stay!

However as in Tulum they are building a lot of new hotels nowadays, also around Naajal there is a construction zone and in the working days you can hear workers hammering, also be careful what you book as not all the rooms are on the second level, some are on the ground floor and then you do not see trees, but just the wall. We had a room on ground floor and doors and walls where very thin, so you can hear everyone talking especially that disturbing at the night time and next to our doors was washing machines which where working time buy time and it was very noisy.

It is a nice place in the jungles, and there is a very nice rooftop where you can spend almost all day watching the sunrise, sunset, bathing in the sun and in the pools, have a meal. Owner and manager of the hotel is very nice and helpful.

On the firts night the AC stop working . But they fixed it the next day. The water in the shower was only warm and not hot. We also tried to cook but cutlery was very limited. Its really far and food option are a minimun of 20 minute walk

Room was super clean , towel are huge. Cute little terrasse. Staff was super helpfull. Overall it was a great place to stay for the money if you have a car or a bike

Be careful while driving in the area. There are several one way streets that are not clearly marked and can lead to traffic tickets. Google Maps does not recognize most of these one-way streets

Located close to Tulum the property is ideal if you have your own transport. The hotel pool is nice to relax for a quiet evening. Restaurants are within a 10 min drive. Additionally, all rooms have enough of the basics to prepare a quick meal. The staff and owner were really nice and always available for help.

Naajal is located away from the center. It is good because there is no noise but it is bit bit far and the distances are quiet big in Tulum. But again Charles saved us : he had bikes and light we could rent.

Naajal is a beautiful hotel. The room were big, clean and nice. And the rooftop Terasse was a top hit.aThe pool and the view, you can’t find it better. But the best at Naajal is th menager Charly and his friend. They were so helpful in any way. Ex given: We came late - no car- and they walked us the the nearest local supermarket and taco stand. And we had many good discussions and talks.

Unfortunately we have a room on the first floor and the view was the wall, not the jungle. However, it explains the relatively low price for the hotel of this class.

Great rooftop double pool. Quiet place further away from the town, in the jungle.

There is kitchenware, but it's very basic. You need a car/scooter to get to the hotel and around, because it is out of the city, in the jungle. Once you have a car, it is very easy to get in town.

Very nice, new aparthotel in the jungle. The host, Charlie is very nice and helpful. He is around the house all the time if you have any questions. The rooms are very spacious, especially on the top floors its like staying in a treehouse, with those huge windows to the trees. The bed is huge, (especially in Mexican relation) and comfortable. There are some mosquitos, but there is mosquito net on every window/door.

In total we love our stay at this place. But when you go there, you have to know, that in the surrounding area some new hotels are under construction. In the daytime you could hear the sound of construction, after 6 pm it was calm. The hotel is a really new one, so there are some things in the room missing. The kitchen is big, but has only basic items. So if you want to cook more, it would be difficult. For a small breakfast it's fine.

Amazing rooftop with pools under the bright shining moon! Located outside of the city the location is very special. The room was nice and big, so we felt very comfortable. You need your time to go there, the roads to there are quit pumpy and there are no shops or restaurant around, but you know this when you book it, so you are free to enjoy that silence in the jungle. The wifi is very good. You have your own internet spot in your room. We were hosted by Charlie. He really helped us out with everything we needed or asked and is a super friendly person, who made our stay special to us!

The hot water didn’t work much while I was there which didn’t end up bothering me too much since it was so hot out. I mentioned to Charlie on my way out also that coffee machines in the rooms would be a huge improvement since the hotel is in the jungle & you have to go to town for anything.

The room was beautiful & the hotel manager (Charlie) was so helpful & kind. The rooftop pools were gorgeous. If you need a shuttle from the airport, help renting a car, scooter or bicycle, they can help you. They were also kind enough to recommend some great restaurants. My time was wonderful & I would be happy to return. The hotel is rather new so improvements are still coming. I’m excited to see how they’re doing in a year!

The access roads all the way to the hotel are a nightmare, really bad with huge holes some filled with water and dark so not the easiest place to get to and from. Far from the main Tulum says 15 mins on Google but with the roads takes around 40. The windows needed cleaning badly and the sinks in both the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. The room needs to be painted and touched up as it seems like parts are new but then some parts very dirty and worn Upon checking out Charlie came to the room and we felt uncomfortable as the check was everything such as counting towels, looking in draws etc which I understand but feel this should be done after check out or with you out of the room. I understand the property is new and think it will be really great once completed.

The property has a wonderful roof terrace with cute pools, big spacious bedrooms, big beds, lovely bedding, and can disconnect from the world as it's still in the trees. There was a big fridge in our room. Our host Charlie was lovely. Very helpful and welcoming Once finished and up and running fully the property will be amazing I think

    - no (daily) cleaning of the room (and building), no fresh towels during the 3 nights we stayed here (we asked and got a fresh one the last day). - waterpressure of the hot water is not enough. - not all of the kitchen equipment has arrived yet (no coffee, no sharp knive, no cutting board, ... the superbasics are already there). The hotel has just opened and not everything had arrived. We had this room on a promotional price and were satisfied with what we got. It can only get better if all the equipment arrives and the rooms are fully equiped

+ rooftop with 2 swimmingpools and nice area to sit with an amazing view. + brandnew, spacious room with lots of light and large bed. + very friendly personel that helps you with all of your questions (we had a lot and Charly was very helpful and friendly the entire time). + very quiet (room and neighborhood) + not a giant hotel, but small and cozy. + free parking in front of the hotel.

    Everything was perfect for us!

This location is ideal for those seeking relaxation away from the bustling city center, characterized by loud music and crowds. Nati, the manager, was exceptionally kind and attentive. Meeting the owner was also a delight, as she proved to be very pleasant to converse with. The value for money here is outstanding. Evenings were particularly enjoyable, spent savoring micheladas by the pool while watching the sunset.
