The castle looks like it's from a fairytale, the pool is also super nice. I stayed in an AC shared dorm, the beds were big and comfy. I really enjoyed my stay. It seems like this is a family owned business and the family is super friendly and would help you with whatever you need. Only be aware that this is not in the city center.

Nothing really, i don't mind walking 10 min to the centre of Palenque.

The buildings architecture in general, and the pool and terras. Very nice design. Some interior could match the style of the building better, like the kitchen and the reception.

The fridge was very full and a bit dirty.

It is as beautiful as the pictures are and so unique. Personally we thought the town of Palenque was average but this accommodation made it worth while. The rooms are comfortable, the aircon works great, the bathrooms are HUGE, and the staff (including the pets) we’re amazing :)

I just hope that there is free coffee in the morning (there was no breakfast). The hostel is a bit far from the city centre but taxis are cheap (3 dollars one way) though I just walked from hostel to the city centre when I was there (30 mins). Anyway, very few hostels in Palenque so this hostel is a good choice if you don’t mind the distance.

There is a pool and a nice kitchen which doubles as a common area. The AC works well at night (and some hours during the day) so it is a big relief primarily in Palenque’s really hot humid weather. The staff and the owner were very helpful and accommodating.

It's a bit far from the center of town where all of the shops and restaurants are, especially if you decide to walk in the heat

Friendly, helpful staff; large, clean, well-kept room with a huge bathroom; wifi worked really well in my room; the pool was refreshing after a long, hot day at the ruins

Toilets weren't very clean. Also I got my laundry washed by the staff but unfortunately a couple of my tops came back bleached, or I don't know what had happened to them but they had these yellow bleach like spots all over. The hostel is also quite far from the centre BUT there is a colectivo coming and going right in front and taxis weren't expensive either. If you have the energy to walk in the heat, thought, it's a beautiful walk

The hostel is very unique. I spent a lot of time there because it was nearly +40 degrees outside. The dorm had AC and there was only one person apart from myself, so it was quite calm there too. Enjoyed the pool and tables outside. Staff was super friendly!!

A little far from the city, but when I took a day tour they were happy to pick me up and drop me off from there.

It was a beautiful castle with round comfortable rooms and a pool and every detail was adorable. There were turtles as well as two doggies and two cats 🥰 the staff were lovely and it was quiet because of being the off season but I liked that.

Lovely and relaxing castle for your visit in Palenque.

The AC seemed to be lacking maintenance, because it was really struggling to cool the room down, so it was a little hard to sleep with the heat from the day during our visit in May. The place is a little off downtown if you want to grab dinner instead of cooking yourself, but this fact is known when booking and was not a real problem since we had a rental car.

The castle is a lovely place and beautifully renovated, the garden is almost like a little paradise with the pond, the pool and pleasant music playing. The hosts were very kind and polite and even spoke English. Everything is kept very well and the entire hotel and the room was very clean. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen and enough seating on the terrace. You can use a fridge and have a dispenser for filtered, cooled or hot water. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe, parking is available on the side street in front.

New hostel with nice hosts, they are still working on improving and doing a good job. My dorm was great. There was a door and aircon. The beds are very comfy and the bathroom was close. The kitchen is well equipped. The walk to town is not so far and there are collectivos too.

there is just one bathroom upstairs. there are multiple showers downstairs at the pool. it could use a bit more atmosphere. plastic tables and chairs and it feels a bit empty in some places.

stayed here for 2 nights and honestly really enjoyed my stay. the girl at reception just speak Spanish but she is really kind and happy to help with anything. the son of the owner is always walking around with a big smile on his face. My bus was a little later on the day, I could stay and use the pool, shower and hang out there the whole day. You get a towel and there’s free cold (or warm) water refill. also the dogs are tooo cute and always in for a cuddle session. all and all I felt really welcome!

Due to the layout of the house/castle, I didn't have a bed in an actual room, but sort of 'out in the open' on a landing across from the balcony on the top floor, so everyone could walk past it. (There is a dorm, though.) But I didn't mind the bed in the end. There were no curtains at the beds, but I helped myself with towels for some privacy. The house is very light-filled, which is lovely. However, without curtains on the windows, it means that you will wake up very early in the morning. There is no sink in the kitchen, so you have to walk to the one in the courtyard outside.

I absolutely loved this little Cinderella-esque castle in an unlikely place like Palenque ;). It's a beautiful house with lots of rooms/landings and big windows. The owner and staff were lovely! Very nice and helpful. Loved the 2 little dogs and the cats. The pool is great. Really beautiful house!!! It is a bit far from Palenque town, but more relaxed due to that. It's definitely too far to walk to the town, especially in this heat, but there's a shop very close by, or a taxi costs only around 40 pesos.

My room was near the front entrance and was a bit noisy with guests, music, dogs, chickens, etc. I think the walls are just a bit thin. The bathroom had a huge window with no curtain so I felt uncomfortable to shower. I think an additional lock on the door to the room would also improve my feeling of safety as a solo traveler.

The property was unique and had cool decorations and a decent sized pool.

The dorms aren't proper rooms, but you rather stay in an open space next to the hallway. They told me later, that they were changing a few things, so that might be different by time. A door would be nice. Also I found a bedbug in my bed the next morning and was bitten my it as well. They didn't seem to know bedbugs when I told them about it (since I had to show them a picture and explain what that meant). So I'm not sure how well they'd take care of it. Unfortunately apart from me, there were only one or two more guests, when I was staying there. So it wasn't easy to meet other people. The place is a bit far away from restaurants and the center, but there are small shops close by, in case you wanna cook something.

The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. However a friend had told me, who's stayed there before, that you should lock your valuables well since one of the employees is taking money now and then. So I felt a bit paranoid most of the times, but I also haven't noticed anything while my stay, so for me it's been all good about that! The castle is well equipped and the outside area looks really nice. Unfortunately I did rain a lot while I was there, so I couldn't use it. I got a queen-sized bed, which was really nice!

I really loved staying here, it’s a beautiful hostel with very kind staff :) It’s always clean, the beds are comfortable, big swimming pool, coffee in the mornings, very cute dogs & cats. I stayed in the 4 bed dorm room which had great air conditioning. It’s a very new hostel so there are things they’re still working on, but I still had a great stay, and I imagine it will only keep getting better :)
