It's very over priced for what you get. If people are on the patio you can hear everything in your room. We had to ask them to be quiet at bed time.

Spacious, clean room with good air conditioning. Shower has warm not hot water, at the end of the day it's fine, but not in the morning. Nice to have access to the kitchen where there is free coffee every morning, although it is quite weak. Beautiful view of the laagoon from the shared patio.

The room we got was ok but quite basic, and the shower was dripping continuously though the tap was closed.

Good location, a few minutes walking from Bacalar's downtown. Possibility to park for free in the public slots close by. Coffee and water offered for free in the common area.

The only thing for me really was the kitchen. I hadn’t realised that there was no stove top and no kettle/jug. They did say I could use a different kitchen that the staff used but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. I was not able to make a cup of tea without a kettle. They have something that provides warm water but it doesn’t get anywhere near the temperate of boiling water. Maybe that’s how kitchens work in Mexico but for me, those are important missing details and make the kitchen incomplete

The location is just fantastic. Just 1 block from the lake and 2 blocks from the main square with all the restaurants. The chicos who run the hotel are great and very helpful. It’s very clean and spacious and they even dropped me at the airport on their way to work. It’s a lovely place at a very reasonable price

Miriam is great! Perfect location - right next to a public access to the lagoon and neighbouring with my favourite restaurant (both breakfasts and dinners!). The lagoon-view from the patio and from my bedroom was stunning. I absolutely recommend it!

There was a bit of smell from the sewer from time to time in the bathroom. There were not really curtains so if you can not sleep with light then this room is not for you. There were some little things like the facet was loose, but honestly it is fine for the price you pay.

Super friendly staff, good location (lagune is juist one road down, main square and restaurants are very close. Room was cleaned everyday.

We asked whether an early check in was available and were told we could be there at 12.00/midday. When we got there at 12.30 our room wasn't ready and we had to wait for another hour which was a little inconvenient as we planned our day around it. Staff doesn't speak much English but was very friendly at all times

Better than expected considering the photos you can see here. Nice terrace with a view of the lagoon. Good value, quiet and good location. There are some basic kitchen facilities and free coffee and hot water in the morning. We would stay here again :)

right in the Center, everything in walking distance. Nice, clean room with big shower, water was working Fine, wifi was working good. Nice stuff working Here. Shared Kitchen with fridge, and cuttleries, free water, free coffee! i would come again.

Staff is good. Kiko tried his best to make my stay comfortable.. my room was cozy & clean. depending on your neighbors, you can hear a bit of noise. good location (7 min walk to the center)

The curtains were too thin so didn't block the light which meant the sun streamed through in the early morning. No bedside lights & the lighting was harsh.

Lovely friendly family run hotel in the perfect location. Great coffee (and/or hot water for other drinks you provide) a fridge & cold water provided. Our room was generally very nice and had a large walk in shower & a lovely big, private terrace.
